Excellent. Nearly gave me the same feeling as watching Dana Andrews walk thru the boneyard of aircraft being scrapped in “The Best Years of Our Lives.” Just a bit of nostalgia like the Quonset huts of the Confederate Airforce in Harlingen, Texas

That movie is one of my all-time favorite films.

That’s my pop (45:46) Jabez Churchill, with Bill Cely on that punishing day on “Frenesi”. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to see him; he died in 1964, when I was 4, so no real memories of the old man. He was 42 when he died. I’m 63 now.

Always good to see documentarys portraying our two countries getting along to vanquish a common foe. Many of our young men British and American never came back and died a Violent death weather by bullets or parachutes not opening or not being able to get out of a ship that was going down because of the G forces pinning them into place so a long 90 seconds to the ground ! God Bless them all.

My father, MSGT M D FALK 494th Bombardment Squadron, 8th USAAF (Asia-Pacific (1942-1944) - UK 1944-45) Gunner/Engineer - I never got to meet him but to me, he was a very brave man.

I was a child at Charmy Down near Bath in 1943 living in a Nissan hut. The USAAF were there at the time.

Does anyone know if DD video or Semaphore communications are still going ? I know Roger A Freeman passed in 2005, but I'd like to make contact with the programme makers.
