People should also know that Slovenia is very small but very different from place to place (we have regions) by that I mean😂: If you live in mountains or by the sea or in the east part of a country, culture is different....even if you go within the same region from one village to the other you can hear different pronunciations, different habits...it’s like comparing someone who lives in California with someone who lives in Texas...I believe it’s quite a difference 😁

Czech Republic has more castles per capital than Slovenia and it is probably somewhere like Malta that has most per capita. Slovenia isn't close to 80% forest and Finland is the most forested country in Europe with 70 something %. I think they were just screwing with you about the stockings thing.

I heard that a lot on the beach or pools. My mother always wipes her private parts aggressively when she gets out of the water, so she doesn´t get a cold. And everytime we drive and see a teenage girl with a skirt, she just shakes her head and goes "she will freeze her eggs". But the biggest health risk in Slovenia is called PREPIH, a wind draft, when you open windows and doors and it blows a bit. Everyone will go "zapri dol, prepih je" (close the window, there´s a draft). Every real Slovenian is terrified of this.
