  • Pico do Jaraguá is the Highest Mountain In the State of Sao Paulo inside of Brazil. In This video, I hiked to the top of the mountain and then back down the mountain. It was tiring, but the sights were beautiful and worth the hike.

    First of all, your understanding of portuguese is great! You understood that perfectly. Secondly, 100% truth the claim that there are jaguars near São Paulo. They are rare but they eventually show up, they could be anywhere, there are three colors of jaguars and the one more common in this region is the brown one, the puma as some call it but in other regions of Brazil you find the other two types. There are no bears below Mexico. Central and south America are free of bears nowadays.

    Nice walk I noticed that you like nature I have a great suggestion there is a place called Horto Florestal in the north of the city, where there is a trail that takes you to Parque Estadual da Cantareira it is the largest urban park in the world, when you reach the top you will find the big stone where you have the best view of the city of São Paulo, just get off at the subway station Tucuruvi and take an Uber for about 10 minutes, you will love it 😊

    Hi Marcellis. Welcome to Brazil. I want to invite you to get to know the city of Curitiba, a beautiful city that is not usually on the traditional tourist routes. If you want to know how brazilians live beyond Rio and São Paulo, we have a lot of culture to offer you, a lot of good food (not only barbecue, but we have a great barbecue in South of Brazil!). Our city also has 45 parks and woodlands varying in size and purpose. I guarantee you will be surprised. If you need a guide, I will be your host to introduce you to the city. Come to Curitiba!

    Fake news alert. There jaguars from Arizona to Argentina. Of course there are jaguars in São Paulo as well, even near the capital, in this region were you were hiking. The guy from Amazonas is very missinformed. The biggest jaguars in the world are closer from São Paulo to Amazonas, they are in the Pantanal in the neighboring state of South Mato Grosso. There are even jaguars patterns all over the top of the mountain you filmed. You didn't noticed but they are pictured even in the ground (31:08). I think you were too tired to notice.

    • @MarsellisTravels
      @MarsellisTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow i didn't even notice that lol. In the United States we have Panthers and Mountain Lions but very few Jaguars

    • @MattZaycYT
      @MattZaycYT ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarsellisTravels The parallel to jaguars near São Paulo is the mountain lions near LA. It's crazy to think about it but it happens more than what we think. I keep thinking about India where they live so close to tigers, leopards and the asiatic lion. I heard that New Jersey have the biggest concentration of bears in the United States as well. That's crazy! NJ have plenty of urban are and is between Philly and NYC.

    lol I was one of those responsible for making y0u scar3d, I didn't say it to mak3 y0u w0rri3d, I just said it out of curiosity. I said that near this region a jaguar was once found in a house, it's a different type of jaguar he call here onça parda, I believe that in the United States they call it a puma, it is smaller than a jaguar (onça pintada). But it was just this one time, near the capital it is extremely rare for something like this to happen, I don't even know if it has ever happened before. This was the vlde0 I liked the most, y0u said you were going to Pico do Jaraguá and y0u really went, in fact y0u went to all the places y0u promis3d, congratulations.

    Everytime I heard "bears" I cracked up, there's no bears in são Paulo or in Brazil lol. Also, why say "stay tuned" all the time if the video is edited and it's not like we have to wait till he comes back. Videos are too long and not dynamic enough.
