So, here’s where listening and paying attention is a skill. He wasn’t just not wearing a seat belt. 1. You clearly hear the trooper say he also didn’t use his signals for lane changes and to have someone check his equipment to make sure it works. 2. He was eating food when he was stopped which is considered distracted driving. All he was cited for was the seatbelt, which in my opinion, sounds like he was given a break. Sure, it seems petty, until you’re the guy in the lane he swerves into unexpectedly causing you to collide with another car at highway speeds, then all of a sudden that guy NEEDS a ticket, maybe two, maybe three.
This trooper is 100 percent wrong a warning will absolutely go against ur record and u can't fight it so it is not doing any favors better off asking for tickets
Man o man, what a money grab. Seatbelt violation is strictly no way a safety issue. If someone doesn’t want to wear it, that’s their business. Kids on school buses don’t wear them, motorcycle riders don’t have to have helmets . Pretty soon it will be a fine to smoke in your car.
Cops love to speed. Watch what they do, they’ll spot someone they want to ticket, they wait until that person is way down the road, then they decide to chase them, and fly like a bat out of hell to catch them.
Anything written is no favor and can cost people thier job so stop telling people that please give them a ticket so they are not wrongfully ticketed only a verbal warning is the only warning ticket in writing is I can't prove it and know that ur not unsafe but gonna give u this and make it sound like I'm giving u a break and when u loose ur job and can't fight this warning u will thank him then
