@@mahubia Yes HK artists were not as charming after 2004 (maybe I just listen to Joey and Miriam mainly), I switched over to Taiwanese C-pop since I started watching a lot of Taiwanese drama (SHE, Rainie, Angela, Jay Chou, JJ Lin) and it wasn't until 2008 that I switch over to K-pop and boy did K-pop ever evolve. Their stages, dance, wardrobe get more and more elaborate year after year. I guess I did listen to G.E.M in that time frame but only because my Taiwanese friends really liked Ai Ni and pick it in KTV, which was a very hard song to sing. I mean I knew G.E.M was a good singer but I didn't really like her songs at the time. I didn't even like Stephanie Sun, only because I'm not a fan of her voice and singing style, but I only found out her songs are very nice to listen to after hearing all these covers of her songs almost a whole decade later. The last HK artist I listened to was Hana Kuk and only because my mom was a fan of that drama.

我是香港人
一直覺得twins是一個很奇特的存在
不知道為什麼當年很流行偶像派路線
沒什麼才華卻能在當年上升到一線水平
沒什麼唱功還多次在紅館開演唱會
也是因為他們後來形象崩壞導致偶像派時代結束
也間接讓香港娛樂圈沉寂了好一陣子
因為當時連香港人也瞧不起香港娛樂圈
香港人自己毀了香港娛樂圈也很有名，各種貶低自家出來的歌手演員，殊不知在別的地方的人都很喜歡他們。
不如說是背後的英皇娛樂， 隨街執班mk仔mk妹演說跳唱無一樣精又話出道。 現在放他們到選秀節目也未必能入圍。 回個頭來看一看當時千禧出道的那一輩藝人有誰還可以在娛樂圈活躍？大概就張敬軒王苑之 .. 大多根本沒有實力被時代淘汰 這個英皇之亂足足搞了20 年， 由twins出道到2020有新一輩比較有實力的歌手出道為止。 這20 年真的是港娛的轉捩點由前人造就的盛世跌落萬劫不復之地，而對港娛所造成的傷害已經不能逆轉，當時形成的 毫無價值的港娛文化被永久排除在國際圈子外， 得靠現在這一輩的人努力追回來。

我只能说Twins 的观众缘很好，加上有很多好的作品加持… 毕竟在演艺圈有实力的很多，可是能得到观众的喜爱也是另外一番实力。
觀眾緣真係無得講，一出就爆紅紅足咁多年，其實到而家我都對佢地無咩負面感覺，:)

英皇給她們起過一個官方中文名，叫做「雙生兒」，只在出道初期用過。

那時候流行用這種奇怪的翻譯嘲笑大陸。
