HPM 400 Ton Die Casting Machine Removal / Loading

This is a video demonstrating a removal of a used / secondhand HPM 400 Ton Die Casting Machine. We strapped the control panel to the side of the machine to avoid disconnecting the wires. The machine was then placed on skates and rolled out of the die cast plant using a Versa-Lift 40/60 forklift. The die cast machine was loaded onto a step deck trailer, secured, tarped and shipped to our customer.

Bought a 500 ton IMM when finances were tight. Unloaded it with a trusted friend and placed it. 56,000 #. Rented a lift truck and done. Moved many smaller one over the years.

I've moved 400 ton hot chamber machine using only steel pipes never damaged or scratched any part of the machine i moved it across the casting shop must have been 80 yards it's no fun when you have skates and a forklift with a jib
