Zacky V (Rhythm Guitarist) came up with the original idea of this. It captures the dark side of humanity and our failure to learn from our bloody history of repeatedly killing each other. As for the crowd its showing how we believe everything we're being told by our leaders without analyzing whether or not its true/right, great reaction
In my personal opinion I love the lyric 'tell me a lie in a beautiful way' its kinda like how leaders sugar coat things and don't tell us how it is
Edit: fun fact The band had written 2 songs for this album and they both weren't quite there yet, so matt decided to blend the 2 songs together and thats this song

Definitely recommend Higher, Roman Sky, or Fermi Paradox. All songs of their newest album and all extremely musical and beautiful songs, both through writing and instruments. You definitely won’t be disappointed. Great reactions man I love watching these
