I adore Tom's pettiness in this play: time dilution, the ongoing stagecraft competition with Sam, his quips at 42 year old AJ acting like a 12 year old and of course the scolding of Luke/James. Straight masterpiece.
Improv teachers always say not to laugh in a scene but Luke's laughter and AJ losing his shit in the background as Sam casually put the ship's manifest in the fire made it so much funnier. Sam and Tom trying so hard to keep it together 😂
I feel like I don’t get it. Was there a fire previously mentioned that I missed or is the joke just that Tom just came up with it randomly to challenge Sam to “yes and” it?
@@ytuser4562sam had just called out Tom's stagecraft by making a second door- because tom opened the first one too far away- so tom was getting him back

Last night i had a fever dream about a SFTH improvised play. It was set on a planet of weebs and Sam and AJ were competing to win the title of Weeb King. It's discovered near the end of the play that Sam's character had only ever watched Dragon Ball, so AJ started doing a "You dont know the highs and lows of high school football" esque monologue about how Sam couldn't possibly be the Weeb King because he can't relate to the epic trails of anime. AJ killed Sam and then it was revealed that AJ and Sam's characters were deeply in love because of course they were. btw, Luke was Sam's running assistant who wasn't really in the dream at all (Sorry Luke) and Tom was AJ's running assistant and also his brother who knew about AJ and Sam's love but thought they were bad for eachother (Mainly because he was also in love with Sam i think? i can't be 100% on that it was mainly vibes and by that point my dream had become more colours than actual plot) I just thought you all should know.
Thank you for informing us 😂, but honestly the fact that I can imagine them doing something like that just proves how chaotic they can be (but that’s why we love them lol)
2:24 is giving The Stupendium’s ‘Why did I say Okie Dokie?’ *just the two of us, in this classroom in the sky crimes of passion are just fine, when enacted called AI, just the 2 of us*
Shit, this was great. It actually had a surprisingly cohesive, satisfying, and entertaining plot that had me rolling. The plot fell apart once AJ went out the hatch, though (what cure? They never found what they were looking for! And what if instead AJ had boarded her time spacecraft and they all went home safely? What happened next?! Etc) Great job as always!
22:10 "ever heard of feminism?" 😂😂 a callback (idk of intentional) to that one improv game they did of only speaking by reading a book and one scene had Luke reading off a feminism book Just so funny that tom said it to look this time lol Edit: nvm.... I just watched the whole vid... Apparently it's in the same special as this... I just learned abt it when i watched the whole special 😅😅
Oh god the lack of coherence is amazing. Everyone is discussing the inconsistencies of the time differences but i think my favourite error is tom being AJ's wife even though that started with AJ being lukes child but they discussed it casually in act 1 which means luke is banging aj's wife and all the kids are his and theyre all completely happy with it 😂😂😂😂
Stellar performance as usual boys! Everything from Luke scolding AJ for narrating to the ongoing feminist joke😂😂. Was choking on air during the whole play (in the best way and I'm fine ).
My third time watching this This is probably the best play so far and Tom had me whizzing like a donkey all the time ,and the ending was just delicious "you ever heard of feminism James "
Best space movie bravo! Im curius what he wanted as a favor? Also i see jackmans last scene as his dead body just floating around the ship so that that past scene hed technically still be there in the background on the floor 😂
"Can...you...do me a favour?"
"Im JUST about to die, what!?"
The irritation in his voice killed me😂😂😂😂
"I just spent my whole career a life building a ship so I could come here and wipe myself from a timeline"
"BUT WHAT CAN I DO. FOR YEEUW."
I mean, I feel like there’s never a better time to do a favor than when you’re about to die? Idk why, that was just my first instinct
"YOU EVER HEARD OF FEMINISM, JAMES!?"
Such an amazing longform! I love the zero gravity combat and Tom genuinely forgetting that there's a murderer on the ship 😂
I’m sorry but are you calling a 22 minute video long form content..?😭

The time dilution was funny as hell, 14 weeks was 5-6 years while 18 weeks is 30 years.
It doesn't have to be linear, depends on the strength of gravitational field. So yeah, nothing wrong here.
@@Fadexpl Exept maybe them going through a black hole.... while travelling to the "outer orbit"?

tom and sam sabotaging each others stagecraft is pure comedy

"The time is diluted too much, I thought it just diLaTEd"
12:38 sam being so proud of creating the murderer's plan is honestly hilarious 😂
you can see on tom's face, the second that aj says time gets diluted, the decision to tease him about it mercilessly
Luke’s hysterical laugh over the mic is tearing me to bits 😂 Also the feminism joke callback was so out of the blue had me in stitches
