Here is my Raw diet for my dogs or pups… Try to add in 3 cups chick peas and 1 cup dark wild rice to your mixture with a 3 cups of spinach , 1 cup of pumpkin, 1 lb beef liver , 1 lb chicken gizzards, 1/4 cup of olive oil , 1 tbs turmeric and 1 tbs of cinnamon, 4 eggs raw , 2 cups raw cabbage
For pups everything gets put into the grinder eggs and all and then I add 1/2 cup of goat or Buffalo milk to top
Also twice a month I replace the puppy goat or buffalo milk with all natural beef bone broth
Puppy diet last till they 6 months then I start going more with solids

I started using our nutrient processor for the fruits and veggies and it helps with prep, but i read that the most nutrients are absorbed when the raw food items are ground.

i think its vice versa with growth hormone . plus insulin is the most known anabolic compounds , but good pups . If its your bread , then mixing it all , not a lot of work . my wife cooks for my dogs and some i feed raw .

Great video. I never knew sweet potatoe helps with keeping their growth steady when higher amounts of protein was given. Now that you explained this. As well as showing pics of dogs that didnt grow properly. Im thinking back about our Frenchie. We had to put him to sleep January 2023 because of an aggressive form of brain , neck and chest cancer. Now we have a 10 week Olde English Bulldogge. I started him slowly on raw a few days ago and get him on the BARF diet instead of what we gave our Frenchie. Bob, our Frenchie ate K9 Kraving. Now Im going to be preparing Kobe's food. There were 2 % breakdowns on how much to feed. Im going to do 70% muscle meat, 10% bone, 10% organ meat, 7% veggies, 2% flax seeds and 1% fruit. Before seeing this video. I was going to use 7% of green beans and carrots at 3.5% each. If I add sweet potatoes. Will the sweet potatoes be part of the 7%? And then divide the green beans, carrots and sweets potatoes up equally? If not, can you let me know the % of sweet potatoes you added?

Quick question Raul. This is James Holbrook. If I mix this up, can I make more and save it in the refrigerator for the next couple meals. I ask because I work from 18:00 to 06:00 in the morning and would be beneficial for me, however having said that I want to do what's best for my puppy. This is James Holbrook again using another CO's TH-cam, because for whatever reason I can't get on here at the jail. Thank you for all this information. Brother I have a question hopefully you can help me with.
I know the BARF diet suggests 10-15 percent bone.
But with the chicken quarters and chicken legs. They basically contain 70 percent meat and 30 percent bone. More or less.
So if for example I use only chicken quarters or legs which I do, and also you did in this video. That would bring our bone percentage to much higher than the 10-15 percent.
Will this be okay for my dogs, mainly my puppies I’m concerned about having too much calcium and phosphorus for them.

I’ve got a 5-1/2 week old American bulldog puppy 4 days ago I told the person I got him from I thought he was still to little but she insisted that I had to take him or she was taking him to the shelter w the other pups , I wish I could have taken all of then precious little ones but I couldn’t anyways I’m having trouble getting him to eat anything I’ve tried all the shelf stuff & he wants nothing to do w any of it so I’ve been cooking beef & chicken breast cutting it into tiny pieces he will eat it but he looks like he’s loosing weight so do I need to add a milk and supplement to help him ?? He has trouble drinking water he tries to suckle it and starts choking … and suggestions to help me w getting him to eat and what I should give him for now until he get a lil older..?. .. plz any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽

My bully pup is 15 weeks and has started to show a slight high rear. When she was about 10 weeks, I was beginning to transition her from victor teal (high-pro) to raw, and I’m wondering if I inadvertently gave her too much protein and possibly caused this. Hearing you mention dietary high rear made me wonder. Is it possible that she’s just growing faster in the back end than the front and that she may straighten out? It’s very minor but I am a perfectionist so it has been concerning to me. If this is something I caused by adding more protein to the high protein kibble, is it something that I can rectify, and if so, please can you advise me what I can try?
Edited to say that she is now on a balanced, weight appropriate raw diet

It is very possible his rear legs are growing faster. Now if he was close to 18 months that’a a different story and even then there is a chance he just hs not popped.

Do you have any advice for people for mixed breed puppies that need to transition at 4 weeks? Teeth came in at 3 weeks old and mom is reluctant to nurse and as I'm on disability I don't have the funds to go out and grab the essentials.

I was expecting it to blow kibble out the water. I will say better than kibble. However, They still have certain preservatives and at times use cheap ingredients. Where to me it leaves much to be desired. But better than kibble
