It’s the ZeroKor Portable Power Station!

The ZeroKor Portable Power Station is a big old powerpack, plain and simple.
Looking at the numbers, we like what we see. Inside is a 75,000-milliamp hour lithium-ion battery array, able to push out a reliable 300 watts of power output with an absolute short-term peak of 600 watts.
For the layperson, that’s roughly 30 iPhone X charges, around 4-6 charges of an average laptop, or running a mini-refrigerator for a little more than 5 hours.
This particular model is designed to get you out of a pinch when there’s an emergency power outage in the home, but also caters for the camper.
There are two 110V 300-watt AC charger ports, two 9-12.6V 10-amp DC ports, three 5V 3-amp USB ports plus a quick charge USB. Given the power draw doesn’t exceed the load rating of 300 watts, theoretically you can charge 7 devices at the same time which is pretty awesome.
Sure, it can be charged from the wall socket, but interestingly, you can also charge it with the 12V cigarette lighter socket in the car, with a gasoline generator, and also with an MPPT compatible solar panel - though it’s important to note that this is not included in the bundle.
Because heat is an issue wherever there is an exchange of electrons, a built-in intelligent cooling fan system kicks in once the unit gets too hot so that neither the battery packs nor the devices are damaged. Not only that, but the battery management system has over current, short circuit, over voltage, and over protection as standard - safety first, right?
So, what do we like about the ZeroKor Portable Power Station?
We love our drones, but we don’t love how fast the batteries deplete when we’re flying them at max speed. This little baby is good for at least 10 quick recharges, meaning more time being big kids, and less time driving back home early grumbling under our breath about how wimpy the batteries are.
What’s a camping device without a flashlight? Rubbish. The ZeroKor Portable Power Station has one built in, which is super handy.
It works exactly as advertised, and the fact that it’s backed by an 18-month warranty tells us these battery packs are made to last.
What’s the downside?
So, beware of that 300-watt limit - we tried to run a bunch of stuff at the same time and it struggled to provide enough output. That being said, most campers can do without every creature comfort - we can’t!
Even though there are built in fans, if you’re drawing a decent amount of juice the power station will still get pretty hot. We found it got a little toasty with a power drill and electric sander hooked up and running at the same time.
So, what’s the verdict? Time to watch and find out!

Bought it a couple years ago for an emergency. Kept it charged and tried it out a few times to make sure it functions. Now I need it. Charged it to 100% and it's totally dead. Amazon says the manufacturer no longer sells it. Warranty expired. And I'm finding this is not uncommon. Now it's just a fire hazard to get rid of.
I just bought this for $85.00 on Amazon. Seems like it will be well worth it. With the way the world is going. It will come in handy in a black out pinch.

I bought mine for emergencies under the name of BigBlue. Charged it on a regular basis to keep it working. Only used it a few times over two years. Now it doesn't do anything. Black screen. This machine goes by various names. Mine is Big Blue and it is no longer supported. Checking TH-cam videos it seems like a common issue. I am a disabled vet and I need it to power a tablet that I control using my eyes. The laser drains the tablets battery in about two hours so I need the additional power. Now I'm afraid of buying another piece of junk. Guessing it's made in China.
Thanks for the review! I just got one. Everytime I turn on the AC outlet, I'm met with a red triangle and not able to charge items in that outlet. Do you know what the triangle means? In the manual, it just says AC Outlet Self-Checking, but no other context about it
We love ours, and it is still going strong! I appreciate the comment. The red triangle on the ZeroKor Portable Power Station, especially if it appears when you turn on the AC outlet, typically indicates an error or a protection mode activation. Here are some common reasons and steps you can take to troubleshoot:
Overload Protection: The device you are trying to power might be drawing more current than the power station can provide. Check the power requirements of your device and ensure they are within the limits of the power station's AC outlet.
Short Circuit Protection: There might be a short circuit in the device or the power cable you are using. Try using a different device or cable to see if the problem persists.
Overheating Protection: If the power station is overheating, it will shut down the AC outlet to prevent damage. Ensure the power station has proper ventilation and is not placed in a hot environment.
Battery Protection: If the battery level is too low, the AC outlet might not work. Check the battery level and charge the power station if needed.
Internal Fault: There might be an internal fault with the power station itself. If none of the above solutions work, you might need to contact ZeroKor's customer support for further assistance.
To troubleshoot:
Disconnect All Devices: Turn off the AC outlet and disconnect all devices. Wait a few minutes, then turn the AC outlet back on with no devices connected to see if the red triangle still appears.
Test with a Known Good Device: Use a device that you know works and has a low power requirement to test the AC outlet.
Check the Manual Again: Sometimes manuals have troubleshooting sections that might give more insight into specific error indicators.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contacting ZeroKor's customer support with specific details about the problem and any error indicators is the best course of action.

The battery in my phone is better than the one I bought. When I unplug the charger, the battery goes dead immediately.
So how many cycles does this little thing take? That's the first thing I want to know about any battery. Are we talking about 500? 1,000? 2,000? And what type of battery are we talking about?
Hey John, the Built-in battery cell is Lithium ion. I cant find where ZeroKor says but we are at 200+ on ours and still going strong.
@@Revu2u » The ZeroKor is rated at 500 cycles "under ideal conditions," which means you'll be lucky to get anywhere near 500. But actually, even if you got just shy of 500 cycles, that's pretty impressive. How long did it take you to get to 200+? When you need to replace it, you might want to check out the BLUERISE Portable (320Wh Backup) LiFePO4 Power Station. It's about $200 and is rated for 2,000 cycles.
