quick question please, So if there is no special form with the document, Customer can just write all the signitures part in handwriting, like you showed in your video? and then notary can attach the acknowledgement with main signer's name on it? thank you
Hi Celeste, that is a really good question! Usually where their documents have the form already, I’ve only done signature by mark for trusts and mortgage documents and POA (which have all had the proper documents for signature by mark BUT I would still Notarize a hand written form or typed up form where the client can type or write up the signature by mark portion.
Hi Maria, witness number 1 will sign the Principals name next to principalsX in your journal and then witness number 1 will sign their name below as well. So two total people will be signing.
Easy breezy explanation. Thanks
I’m so glad you liked and understood it. I’m working on it but thank you for the encouragement! (:

That is exactly right! 😊
Hi there, what form is used for a signature by mark in California? Do we create one? Is there a specific one?

I hope that helps! 😀
Hi there, so I just found out that you do not need to create one. The clients can just write out the witness portion on the form no problem.
do all 3 sign the journal as well?
