An old favorite, actually one of my goto songs, especially when in the mood for mischief making. I actually saw Bob in '79, a year or two before he died in the early '80s. Great concert, my cousin was one of main security guards, as my other cousin & I spent time talking to him before entering the Western Springs venue. I don't know how we both remember the concert, as there was so much pot floating around, just like an Asian smorasborg. Bob Marley was amazing as usual, as was the whole band, especially the backup singers who were next level, unbelievable, eh. One of my best ever concerts & considering he'd die shortly after, a tinge of sadness. Stir it up, little darling : ) 🧡🤠🤸🏻♀🌤😎

Happy heavenly birthday 79 today 🎤🎸🇯🇲 Bob Marley believed that you could cure racism and hate... literally cure it, by injecting music and love into people's lives. When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down. Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang. When they asked him why - He said, "The people, who were trying to make this world worse are not taking a day off... How can I? Light up the darkness."

Death is an illusion ... God is "Our Father" ... Our trainee male parents [Our Brothers through whom we were sent to this environment by Our Father] are not our Father / Dad etc, and do not warrant such titles.
Only the delusional would lay claim to being the creators of things that are created for them.
What? Again im not saying christianity in its early days wasn't good. Im just saying that it really, really sucks now. These are no lies. I live here and see what modern atleast german christians are. Not christians, and hardly applying any of Christs teachings to their everyday life. Im not quite getting what you are trying to say.
When I was a teenager, this music used to invade my room, and my father did not like music at all, but with the passage of time he became in love with music thanks to this miraculous voice

Come on and stir it up, little darlin', stir it up. O-oh!
It's been a long, long time, yeah! (Stir it, stir it, stir it together)
Since I've got you on my mind (oh-oh-oh-oh) Oh-oh!
Now you are here (stir it, stir it, stir it together), I said
It's so clear
To see what we could do, baby, (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Just me and you
Come on and stir it up, little darlin'!
Stir it up, come on, baby!
Come on and stir it up, yeah!
Little darlin', stir it up! O-oh!
I'll push the wood (stir it, stir it, stir it together)
Then I blaze ya fire
Then I'll satisfy your heart's desire. (Oh-oh-oh-oh)
Said, I stir it together (stir it, stir it, stir it together)
Every minute
All you got to do, baby, (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Is keep it in, and
oh, little darlin'
Stir it up, baby!
Come on and stir it up, oh-oh-oh!
Little darlin', stir it up! Wo-oh! Mm, now, now
Quench me when I'm thirsty
Come on and cool me down, baby, when I'm hot (oh-oh-oh-oh)
Your recipe is, darlin' is so tasty
When you show and stir your pot
So, stir it up, oh!
Little darlin', stir it up, wo, now!
Come on and stir it up, oh-ah!
Little darlin', stir it up!
Oh, little darlin', stir it up. Come on, babe!

This song also has among the best guitar solos ever.
My mom said my dad use to play this a lot when I was still in the womb and he kept playing this particular song and ONE DROP these are my favorite grand father bob Marley song....I play it everyday ✊☝️
I remember back last summer I was puffing on a fat joint, this song came up at right at 04:52 I broke down into tears about how Bob Marley isn't with us anymore, all the pain he went through when he was dying, all of the opposition he faced (CIA, Freemason). He was a great man, and although he passed before I was born, I feel like I'm talking to him whenever I hear his songs. Miss you Bob
He still lives! His spirit has communicated a bunch of new amazing songs through channel Jim Belleau! Go to www.quantumreggae.com and you can hear them for free! Message from Bob, Volume Oneness.
David Montane Is one of his best song
Being a pothead doesn't make you cool.
Did you say you feel like you're talking to him? That's not you, it's the weed talking, Cut down on it.
Bless jah soul
Bob Marley's music can take you completely out of your element and into a peaceful euphoric place 💯👼

Whenever I’ve had a bad day I put on this music, especially 3 little birds.
I learned about this song by watching the movie "I am a legend". Bob Marley is a talented singer of all time. His music heals my heart and soul in this cruel time. Peace to all.
Listening to this while high is crazy good.
Jamming it in this lockdown.. Only Marley can sooth the soul with this vibe..

It's never too late to start, or at least try.
U should try marajuana its way more better and healthier than alcohol

This music is transcendent! I don't know much of this genre, but this has got to be close to quintessential!

Bob Marley, a sociologist, a freedom speaker, a immortal sound that chilled our brutal life.
Damn💓💓💓💓💓
You have never lied
Stir it up, little darling : ) 🧡🤠🤸🏻♀🌤😎
i’m convinced that there is no bad bob marley track out there
Hell yeah bro it doesn't exist
@@davidllamas9303 You can hear that synthesizer in this song. That sound is from a keyboard called a Minimoog model D played by Earl Wya Lindo at the Old Grey Whistle test with the Wailers in 1973 for the BBC in London.
The bass line is awesome and the lead guitar miles ahead of its time
If you can give dislike to this song, you just have to hate your life.
The greatest...Peter Tosh on electric acoustic
I do like Peter tosh the lead gitarrist He died since i was four years, bob Marley died before i came to the world, then Bunny wailer died during the corona virus when i was thirty eight years old, this year i ll be forty, rest in peace to the three musicians, lots of positivity
This has always been my favorite song by Bob & recently I went on vacation in Jamaica. Been wanting to go there forever & finally got to go. But this is the song I was welcomed to as soon as we got to the resort & it just set the mood absolutely perfectly. Hands down best place to go to for vacation. Nicest people, best food, & most beautiful country I've ever had the pleasure of going to. I hope all of you wonderful fans of Bob get to go there some day :)
This song teleports me back to so many tender moments of love and happiness... 😌😌😌
Damn! I have goose bumps all over me listening to that solo guitar. This got to be the kind of music that angels play in Paradise. I feel like I have a taste of Paradise already! WOW!
I have been around all genera of music all my 79 years, family member on the Grand Ole Opry, but I have never heard such an accomplished guitar player as this gentleman,. I could listen to him all night forever. Whoa! Thanks for the journey. Love it.

You are a legend if still listening to this masterpiece in 2021.🙏
This has those positive vibrations that songs nor artists are attempting to put out long live the king
Bob Marley was asked once by DJ Bingie Barker (Jamaican) what might be the last message he would leave to his fans?
Bob replied,
'within everyone there is a right and a wrong voice, listen to the good voice inside your head and try to do what's right!"
his last words were "money cant buy life " in other words nature is a force of creation
Thats the truth....
