Stainless steel might be frowned upon when it comes to battlefield use against other weapons or armour. But if you are not a professional soldier maintaining your weaponry all day you know it will still be as sharp as it was when you put it into the drawer. So, well, it's about context, as some famous youtubers say.

First off United Cutlery makes very well made weapons as numerous tests have shown but whatever you can have your own opinion.
Second they are doing this cause they don't have a choice, TH-cam us fucking them over with the new advertising system so they can't make much as much money anymore with all their videos getting demonized due to gore predjuce. United Cutlery are the reason they can afford to live anymore and to do that they have to show off the products that they are getting paid to show off. Be thankful that United Cutlery are sponsering them cause without it there may not be any more ZGB forever

khukuri house isn't as good of quality as himalayan imports or tora blades but i do agree with you wholeheartedly the stainless they pump out nowadays can't hold an edge and is cheap garbage
Those thick bladed khukuris are targeted towards westerners, where the thought "thicker is better" is popular. Traditional khukuris are generally 8mm to 10mm thick, and are a lot more agile than their thicker counterparts. Production khukuris that are closer to the traditional designs include OKC Ranger Kukris and Cold Steel Gurkha Kukris.
I agree 100% id take a handmade original kukri any day over these overpriced mass produced trash knives. Sorry ZGB i disagree with you on this.

If the only goal of the blade is to do damage, it is fully functional. As a kukri, I would not trust it. Yall have a few true kukris and are likely aware that they are far more robust. Their care is easy and I would choose a true kukri every time. If the scabbard is tight on the blade, coat the blade in oil and let it soak into the wood of the scabbard. You can wipe the excess away the next day or that evening. I use mink oil. My kukri chops trees down, processes wood, and does any bushcraft task. Id go with the more robust tool. That being said, I like the video. If yall ever do a comparison between a true kukri and something such as this, I would be happy to watch. I stumbled on this randomly as I am a kukri enthusiast, and very bias.
Get one and try it out. At least as far as looks go, the M48 Kukri is one of the best looking Kukris.

They weren't going to get banned, just the videos with realistic-looking blood get flagged so they don't get advertising on them, and obviously if they don't make the money from that they can't keep putting money into making videos.
Stainless steel is perfectly fine for knives. Especially if we're talking 440C stainless steel. It only runs into problems when blades start getting longer, but for knife blades it's not really going to encounter the kinds of forces that can break it. Also, if you're not going to use red blood, how about green?
Leather absorbs and gathers moisture. If you leave a blade inside of a leather sheath for a long time it will rust, the same goes for a wooden sheath like many swords have but the effects take longer to yield rust
This is more like it... I like weapons testing the best. Also I followed the link and bought one to get a cool product and just because I wanted to support you guys... My advice is to stick with this format... it works and it is also the reason I became a fan in the first place...

I just ordered a Kukri from Nepal yesterday. I got an 8inch model because I wanted something closer to a Bowie knife than Machete in size. This is going to be my survival knife. Straight from Nepal. This is my first "real" knife. This was my Christmas to myself. Merry Christmas.

also chuck, high carbon blades should never be stored longer then a day in a leather sheath, its okay if its a wood core sheath, but will still rust after awhile. just a heads up, sure you probably already know though. edit, and i also get that you were making the point that there is less corrosion with a stainless steel as well.

Leave the rust on some of the high carbon steel blades. It just makes them look more badass

Okay for your Gurkha kukri high carbon steel melt lard melt it down till it's just liquid not overly hot pour it into the knife sheath until it fills the sheath then while it's still hot and liquid insert the knife back in careful don't burn yourself when the lard squirts out but everything gets coated everything is coded inside the sheath you will have to wipe off excess grease and oil off the knife every now and then but you will almost never ever have rust again, and it works very well for those zombies that don't like Pig

If I was going to use a pair of khukri/khukris (not sure what the plural form is), I would most likely use these. If I was going to use a melee weapon, though, I'd most likely use Cold Steel's warhammer. As-is, though, I'm happy with my Stryker 380.

You weren't using properly, the pinnacle point of the curve is the G-spot, we call it the G-spot cause its the exact spot you have to hit to perform a decapitation.

Kukris are not meant to be used like normal machetes, the large end, similar to a Bolo Blade is meant to be used with inertia, unlike any other machete where you can just go batshit crazy however you want. This is why I like normal machetes better because there is almost no technique, you just have to have the ability to hit hard
