I just only realized now, as an adult that it is possible to do that. My dentist had my tooth removed when I was 15-16 since she concluded that it will never move down anyway. She didn’t even give us the option to do this. And now, I have a problem of one missing canine that is now making gaps to my other teeth. Plus taking a huge toll on my self-confidence for seven years now. I am saving up for dental implants next which are so fckin expensive. Really wished my mom and I had went for a second or third opinion before removing my tooth. Or at-least have these resources before.
They told me that too, but i kept asking for other options, this is indeed the most painfull, but in terms of money, implants will cost u less than this treatment because it takes like 2 years to finally get them out and you will need to go to the dentist every month in order to pull them out little by little
Sheesh you can always look into the legal options since you can always sue if they didnt do their jobs properly (even after years) and in this case it causes you distress and confidence issues, not a lawyer, just similar to a case my friend submitted against his dentist who did not give him all of the possible options and ended up causing him extra money to fix the problems

I had this procedure to expose my canine tooth it was a fast surgery in my head because I was under anesthesia. Pain level after was tolerable. Only took pain meds once. But to see how the process of my teeth moving from where it was is just amazing. Can’t wait to show my smile off ! MY ORTHODONTIST IS AMAZING.

Had this done when I was 14-17. Oral surgery exposed the tooth in the roof of my mouth and they used a gold chain to pull it into place. Very thankful my grandparents had this done for me.
@Lilys_Art1 the tooth was exposed right after surgery. Took about a year to pull it into place, then the next couple years they worked on the rest of my teeth and getting my bite to line up
@@Farzana_Titly Overall I’m happy I did it because my teeth are looking better than ever. The worst part was having doctors break my jaw open so I can have one of my incisor teeth come down. As a kid my jaw was too small and it never grew in. After the surgery I couldn’t eat properly for 2 months, and my lower face was incredibly swollen. Now I have braces with rubber bands, and a more defined jawline. Thankfully I can eat just as fine as anyone else now. If you have the willpower and money, go for it, you’ll feel better for it.

I literally have this exact thing going on right now for my upper canine lol my tooth’s been really stubborn so I’ve had brace for the past 3 years but it’s definitely coming down. Not painful at all, but I do remember when they laser cut my gum to start pulling the tooth it did hurt pretty badly 😅

@@MsVicki73 the surgery itself is fine, but the first couple of appointments after do definitely hurt. have him take some paracetamol just before the appointments to help as i found that does definitely work and he should be alright :)

No, it is just local anesthesia. I did not feel pain during the operation, but it started the next day. With a little analgesic, the situation will be better, do not worry. @@ArianaAriana-b6h
It was only until recently that I saw a similar video that I know it's even possible to do that. How often are those adjusted and how long did it took? It's amazing how they're able to apply the right amount of force to pull it from 2 direction but towards that perfect spot
I had something similar done where I had skin covering one of my teeth that had to be removed in order to pull the tooth into the braces...let me tell you the pain was unbelievable
There are several reasons why but the most common one according to kriss ai is impaction. It occurs when there isn't enough space in the mouth for the tooth to emerge normally. I'm glad I didn't have one 😌

Not painful at all! I have this going on in my mouth currently lol braces only hurt the first week and you get used to the feeling of them by the second. Please get them if you can I promise it’s so worth it in the end
