For what it is, and in the least, I love the idea! And so want it to happen! And that Pigsy is working on it is all the better, seeing what he and his friends have been able to do with Symphony of the Night on Genesis/Megadrive! It's really impressive!
@@united_virusX I'm a game developer, but I don't make games for classic consoles. We usually do just that, first we work on the basic mechanics of the character, some enemies and interactive objects, then we work on the setting. Since you left the enemies for later, that's fine too, it's a way of showing progress on the project and thus getting more support, as well as the fact that each person has their own development methodology and organization.
@@united_virusX They probably haven't ruled it out, because after the basic movement, the scenery is the next thing to be worked on. Once the scenery is ready, it's time to place the enemies and see how much the console can handle and start optimizing.
Actually, the mega drive on its own could handle the soundtrack, but it requires a certain mastery of the sampling tools. I think just delegating to red book audio on mega cd might be kind of a let down and make it less unique. Then again, there are exceptions to this rule--ecco had its own unique tracks for the cd version that stand apart from the original. While not quite as legendary as the mega drive soundtrack, the tracks are still awesome.
Pigsy only started this game 3yrs ago. Pigsy was doing this by himself then got help from Pyron to help with graphics and Inglebard on music in last two years.
The environments look really cool. The music is dope. Can't wait to see actual enemies.
last years demo had more to it like actual levels and bosses luckily this demo is just one of many coming this year
This intro is actually dope for Mega drive hardware
There are no enemies but the levels are still beautiful. Pigsy's and a sublime work
Pigsy has confirmed there will be another demo in a few weeks
@@united_virusXFabulous thanks 🫂
Always on board with ANYTHING on the SEGA Genesis and Super Nintendo, two of my favorite gaming consoles.
Very nice work!
Very good I will keep it up looking forward to its completion
MEGA DRIVE É MUITO BRABO !!!

Damn this is sick!
I cannot wait for this project to be actually completed!
Um trabalho majestoso. Obrigado!
Wood Carvin Partita! Uma das minhas favoritas! 😍
It's looking amazing, I'm very excited to see the progress of the project.
I’m excited to see what the other demos pigsy plans on releasing later this year will look like

@@frednocontrole I think this is more of a art demo last years demo did have working enemies and a few bosses but I’m not sure if those where scrapped

good job
Makes me wonder the 32x version.
Looks legit 👍🏼
Is the whole game logic in takt ? 6 button Controller Support?
From what I noticed only three buttons are in use atm, I can’t remember if last years demo had more button support
Maybe a mega cd port would be better than stock megadrive or a sega 32x combo with mega cd will be great too for a Castlevania simphony port.

A CD audio support would also be Great.
I know one MD game had all game on Cartridge and an optional CD audio add on, if wanted
This is never coming out to the Genesis. Vaporware, 8 years later still in demo Genesis sucks!!
theres a money raise fund support
