    I am impressed that Not one strand out of master knights hair came out of place after that violent roll.

    Those first two escapes where you push the elbow and sit up look like they wouldn’t work but they really do. I have pulled off both of those in sparring. Very simple but effective techniques. Thanks for sharing.

      They do look a little too simple, but they work really well. I started using this type of escape after watching Marcelo and Dean Lister use them effectively

    Thank you so much! Those concepts for using the arms when the opponent first drops their hip were a missing piece of the puzzle for me and my side control defense! The knee bar was just icing on the cake :)

      I’ve put a ton of work into my bottom side escape system. Both by necessity and intention. Thank you for the kind comment.

    Quick Q: When you're doing the kneebar can the opponent not reach for your neck and choke or pull you back?

    I was in similar position from halph g, I went for a toehold, he didnt tap so I let it go. Think I could do some damage though lol

    Great as always. Anyone with me on heelhook defence? In my opinion it is the worst submission to get caught with, I want to get a good defence against it

      Get Garry Tonon’s Exiting the System. Probably the best escape instructional out there right now.

    couldn't you pull something similar from half-guard top?

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. That’s essentially what’s happening at the end of the reversal is that you wind up in half guard top and there is the opportunity to use this
