Animal is a misogynistic, toxic movie, no one agrees with many scenes, but it became hit at box office, people saw this movie because it has substance. Its been long time in bollywood or recent movies with has substance. All that is happening these days is focusing on costumes, sets, violence, adult scenes, exposing etc etc. Even though sandeep's story is faulty, messy,the way he executed is commendable. It shows his passion for film making. Especially the background scores of this movie. The way he planned, executed deserved applause. If only he works on scripts. He has talent of getting people's attention. And the casting in movie! I think everyone got the deserved fame except for the guys who played ranbir's cousins. All the time it felt like they are a real family. A good Director knows how to get the best of his actors. Finally ranvir himself, except for one or two, bollywood didn't use him well. This is the ranbir audience wanted to see.
