I was asked if I do weddings, but I have no idea what to charge, what is a ballpark general fee that is fair for everyone? I'm aware that there are many factors, but a starting point would be helpful
Tough to give an EXACT number, as you mentioned, because it will depend on a number of factors, but I can tell you my first wedding I ever shot I did for free, my second I charged $750, my 3rd I think I charged $1500 then $2000 and today my packages start at $3,000. I hope that helps!
@@Mavrick1509 I’m glad that helps! Start there until you get comfortable and then increase your prices quickly. @@skyshotsimaging8373my first wedding I shot I charged $500 for the whole wedding then $700 ( or $750) for the whole wedding then around $2,000 and today my prices start around $3,000.
Thanks for this man! So why do you choose 30fps over say 60fps where you could just utilize slow motion? I assumed you could drop 60 frames footage in a 24 timeline and it would look ok? I’m pretty new to all this so THANK YOU for the tips! I had gotten pretty stagnant with my drone shots lately lol
Great question Daniel!😀I prefer 30fps over 60fps because I find the drone does a good job of stabilizing the footage on it’s own and slowing it down just a hair from 30fps to 24fps on my timeline gives me the stabilization and speed that I like most! 60fps slowed to 24fps is a bit too slow for me based on the speed that I typically fly my drone at and when played back at 60fps on a 24fps timeline it gets ‘jerkier’ than 30fps because of the higher shutter needed. I hope that answers your question!🙂let me know if you have any more!
Thanks for the ideas. this would be definitely a must try since I have wedding shoot this coming Sunday! whew still using my OG Mini2
My pleasure! I hope your wedding went well!

@GrantBurks yeah, that for sure helps, tbh, I was thinking around the 700 mark was it, glad I wasn't vastly off. Thanks for the rough idea!

@@GrantBurks is this charge for the drone services only or the entire wedding production?

So what does any of this have to do with weddings? These are just common drone shots.
You can use a lot of these shots for other projects as well but these are shots that I like to use for weddings!
You’re uptight. Go smoke a bowl.
He is just telling you that these shots can be used for wedding. This is a great video. Be positive Man 🎉
