Hi..thanks so much for the helpful video.weve just bought one for Christmas..our fish are at the top though!ive read through comments on amazon and TH-cam and a lot vary.some say distilled,some tap water,some say,hold the fish down at beginning,others say,leave the lamp on for 20 minutes then fish float etc etc.i did notice one thing..you're fish sunk straight to the bottom,ours didn't no matter how much we heated then or tapped them.we live in Brighton which has chalk and hard water,so it seems better to invest in some distilled water?out of interest are you in a hard or soft water area and do you have any extra tips?thanks
There should be a valve type compartment at the bottom where can you replace. Unfortunately not all models are the same so not sure if it will be different on others
Hi thanks good video as i have done i am now going to investigate one sandstone not working however got this for the boy at christmas and its been on full pelt seven days /24 hours so i think its done well keep you all updated
@TheZoneOut Would you recommend using Fairy washing up liquid, I’m worried to use it in case the strength of it damages the pump
Fairy liquid should be fine use small amounts as too much can cause issues for the plastic fishes to float

Hi, I think my area is in soft water area but distilled water is always beneficial
How do you remove the top? Mine won’t come off
How do you do clean filter inside the gold thing mine is completely full of rubbish pal
Apologies for the late response I clean it generally as i would other appliances sponge fairy liquid but I do clean it often
In my daughters lamp the fish just sit at the top as tho they can't sink down 🤔
Did she shake them before putting in? And also make sure the bubbles are set up on full speed initially.

I didn't put the fish in mine and just use it as a mood light very relaxing and I filled mine up with tap water
