Thanks a lot, Paul! im glad you think so, I was told the overall volume was very loud by some people in attendance, though they seemed to really enjoy the gig nonetheless!
Great performance guys! My favorite part is when everyone converges for a moment at 8:13 with Thierry and Roland playing at high registers and then (Roland) begins playing the staccato gestures that fade into your percussive patterns; really dynamic moment there!
ohh so you were the paparazzi with the felt hat and sunglasses sitting in a corner taking all those photos during the concert!! damn, serves me right for thinking a made-up stage name would be enough to fend off journalists!!

thanks Roger! yeah, "improvised music" has become such a vast territory, with so many varied (and sometimes slightly contradictory) underlying philosophies and approaches, it can be difficult to double-guess if a musician you've never played with before is up for this kind of "old school" free jazz stuff, but i'm glad both Thierry & Roland were into this vibe too!
Really nice playing - so free, yet all members are building together so dynamically! Urbuli, I always like the way you can play somewhat actively, yet without obstructing the others. That's not easy! If you're ever in St. Louis, let's get in touch. btw, sorry I had to delete and re-post "A Distant Prelude", thereby losing your comment. (I found a better edit spot for ending the prelude section.)
Thank you so much, Fred! your kind comments never fail to buoy me up considerably!! ☺I would love to visit the US again, thank you so much for the suggestion! there're so many people I'd love to meet and play with! Needless to say, if in the meantime you ever came to France, I'd love to meet you here too! (and absolutely no need to apologize btw!)

Amazing performance!!! I love how it evolves with peaks and troughs, taking us on a journey, but it keeps that light airy feel throughout.

I really like those full band pieces, the bass always adds that bottom cohesion
oh yeah, thanks Yves! I too enjoy playing with a bass, it seems to instantly bring out the jazzy element in free jazz!

cool vibes starting at the 6:20 mark, going into some classic free jazz.
