The flow of drugs into the US doesn't seem to have been affected at all.
As long as American politicians keep taking payoffs there will always be more drugs. The ONLY reason cartels or drug lord go down is because they most likely didn't meet their monthly quota. USA knows EXACTLY where each individual trafficker is at any given time. They allow them to operate while politicians take a little off the top 😉

It got worse: Mexican cartels took over the smuggling and distribution parts of the business..

Well done. A very informative video indeed but its title is wrong. This video is a history of the cartels at colombia. It refers more things about other cartels than Pablo. Please be specific on your titles. Dont scam people. I wanted to see the story of the legendary Pablo not this.

How tf you get "medijen" from medellin? Good god dude learn how to pronounce words.
Think it is because he is used to pronounce Italian also the LL is pronounced differently in diffrent types of Spanish. In Spain it is a Y sound so it would be pronounced Medeyín, in some versions of Spanish in Latin America it is infact pronounced Medejín in Colombia for example both the Y and J sound is used depending on where you are. In Argentina and Uruguay it is also common to use a SH (think shop in English but a little softer) sound for LL so they would say Medeshín. So it ain't that bad you probably wouldn't understand my Spanish since I was taught to speak Andalusian dialect of Spanish in school and also learned some Argentinian since my last teacher was from there but she spoke a mix of Argentinian and Nicaraguan Spanish since she lived in both.
