Lunch Stipend, can I assume with a cold one? The south end of the Gila NF, many hikes about with varied geologic features, being a geologist it is blissful. Trying to gear up for spring TM stations the big items are, shade and water to the south of Silver and Gila. Will be meeting with a park employee for details and data. It seems that most Sobo-ers are complete or they are doing the road to Lordsburg, no activity at cache since 12/6 water cache mi 114.2.

Yay!!! Thank you!!! You can absolutely assume a cold one will be involved. 😜 I’ve heard the Gila is amazing! I will definitely take that route when I eventually get out to the CDT. Very cool about meeting with a park employee. And ahhh yes makes sense about the Southbounders. I wonder what the most typical date is that they finish. I imagine they’d be racing the winter at this point.

@@A-K_Rambler That’s amazing - thank you so much! I really appreciate that! We’re talking about potentially thruing the CDT in 2025. For me, it will depend on getting a leave of absence from my job. My boss is supportive so I am hopeful! We’re supposed to discuss more in depth in the spring…. 🤞🤞🤞
