Any young kids around 8-12 who are watching this if you want to play basketball that’s the perfect age to get serious. If you did what I did, even though I’m 6’1 I didn’t try basketball till I was like 15-16 seriously. By then I realized the skill gap between me and kids even 2-3 years younger than me. Basketball is a sport you have to start early, because the game has so many fundamentals you need to be completely sound with. Football depending on your position is one of the easiest sports to migrate into. For example running back, all you gotta do is hold the ball and run without getting tackled. Basketball is much more complex, you need to know how to dribble, shoot the ball, make lay ups, play good team defense and so forth at every single position. So you young bulls if you’re scared to start go for it, don’t live with the regret if you love basketball. Try playing and really giving it a shot, you could develop into an amazing player. I bet this kid has probably been playing ball since he was 3-6 if not younger, some of y’all are still young enough to start playing and the skill gap will not be terrible for you
