Hello sis , iam an new subscriber from Pem School of excellence.. I have a doubt sis. When there is increase of electron density on oxygen it leads to decrease in polarity of OH bond . Could you explain this alone ?
Hi sis can u say me about polarity?? What is it and how it increases when electron density decreases?? What does polar bond mean?? Less polar OH and more polar OH what does it mean? Pls reply😭
When there is more electron density on one side of the bond than the other that means there is more negative charge on the side of the bond with the greater electron density. The negative charge due to the greater electron density creates a negative polarity creating a more polar bond.
When electron density increase polarity decrease ok va ur wrong
Yes dear
I am extremely sorry
@@SwathystudyPlanet how it will decrease sis??
how ??
How

Crystal clear conceptual explanation👍🏼 thank you very much✨✨
But concept I wrong

Akka , when electron density of oxygen increases , the polarity of OH bond decreases but you have told that polarity increases
Super 👌👌
Akka, I guess polarity pathi maathi sollitiga... When e- density increase polarity decrease and vice-versa....
Yes I am wrong
Sorry
I have a another doubt sis , what is the difference between ka and pka
Should we need to memorise pKa values ? For board exam
No
Sis Am I need to memorize pKa val for NEET UG 2022
Akka u didn't put that positive sign on oxygen.because oxygen had given a pair of electrons it gets a positive charge.
Acidity increase achuna polarity increase, then density decrease
When density increase the acidity and polarity decrease
One video about polarity pls less polar more polar OH bond pls😭😭😭😣

@@SwathystudyPlanet okay, thank you soo much sis. This really helped me a lot. May god bless you.
B-)
Akka, how you are telling that water is more acidic than alcohol. Because water is a neutral pH ?
Not exactly neutral
Akka, as comparing to alcohol water is more acidic ?🤔
Because it can donate protons more easily on comparison with alcohol which has alkyl grps
Thank you akka
Water is slightly acidic
akka inthan last video vaa intha lesson voda
No dear

Yes
Akka, what is meant by pka and ka???
It is the measure for acidity of the substances
