RARE LEADERS! | Railfanning at Palgrave (SEP 14, 2024)

After 113 with the kcs leader passed by, there was another northbound lined for elder. I came to Palgrave and when I first heard the horn, I thought it would be an 8100 series engine. Nope! It happened to be CP 7028, an ACU leader with CP 9652 trailing second. This train was meeting 104 at Baxter. It was supposed to have the Olympic unit on it but instead, it had a KCS leader on it. KCS 4659 had a basic K5HL horn that took the siding in Bolton to meet 101. 101 only had cp 8160 & cp 9770 leading.
