- new year, new... level. i think i'm still the same as i was before, and honestly that's fine with me!
i started this level last week for reasons similar to why i made Loster - generally just felt pretty bad that day, needed something to take my mind off of things. this level was meant to be an entire other thing too, being one of the levels in a 2-part series (which never happened mainly just cuz i didn't particularly have a song for.. any of these two levels at first, this is why you plan stuff first). the plot was different, the level ideas were much different (for reference, this level was supposed to be fully green, and um... i think you can tell how that went), and i think that kinda played a factor as to why this level never really clicked for me up until i actually finished it. does this mean i dislike it? no, i honestly think this came out very good and clean, but something in me did wish i stuck to my original planning :p
i guess the simplest way to go about this level's general direction was that it turned from being this "epilogue" level of sorts, to something along the lines of a borderline vent level, to something... not really like either of those things at all. maybe this means that the level will kinda grow on me as time goes by, since at some point i'll figure out whatever it is i made.
also, for those who care enough to question the title-yes, this is a reference to scott cramer. i love his channel and pretty much all of his content and i have for the last couple years (since 2022!), not that i expect many people to read this far, but if you're a fellow strugglr, make yourself known, we don't judge on this channel
anyways i think that's all i have to talk about!! glad to say that i am once again starting the year off with a banger, even though i still dont quite understand it yet. i hope this ends up getting a Featured rating sometime soon (although it somehow got Epic sent), and i hope y'all like what i made! i will most definitely be taking my time on levels now, so if i don't drop monthly all the time, that's why. regardless, i'm very excited to see what this year beholds! it will definitely be very... interesting.
