Backstory idea for Spirit(if you decide to make one)
Spirit starts out as an imaginary friend, so she is not a human being. The person who has her as a friend is a little girl called Kate, and Kate was lonely. She made up an imaginary friend call Spirit. One day Kate and Spirit were out playing outside at school for recces. They come across an older kid called Mike. Mike is a bully. He calls Kate names for having an imaginary friend, such as freak and weirdo. Spirit defends her friend, but since she is imaginary, she cannot be heard. Kate starts crying and runs into the woods, where she finds a strange shelter build of stones and sticks. Her and Spirit enter the shelter, but a boulder rolls and blocks the entrance. They are trapped. Kate and Spirit go to sleep on the muddy leaves, and it starts pouring. Rain enters the cracks of the shelter. Soon, in the middle of the night, it has flooded, and getting deeper. "Spirit!!" Kate cries. "Wake up!!" Spirit jolts awake and looks at the situation hopelessly. "We have no hope, my friend" she says in a somber voice. "At least we will see each other in the after life." Kate cries the entire time, while Spirit tries to comfort her. Soon it is filled with water and it goes black for Spirit. "Wh-where am I??" She says to the darkness. "Welcome to the void. The realm of eternal darkness. " "W-what? How can i leave? Where is Kate?!" Spirit cries. "The only way you can escape is to become a monster. You will have special abilities. " Void said. "I-i accept." Spirit says, realizing she has no choice. "But where is Kate?" She asks. "Unfortunately, she was to young to make it to the void. She is in heaven now." Spirit stays silent. "Since you are kind but imaginary, you will be a shining blue light, rather than a monster, and you will guide people through the Doors hotel. You will be guiding light, but people will call you "Shine"" void explains. "I would like to stay as Spirit, please." Spirit says quietly. "Very well." Void says.

Idea For Window:
There was a 12 year old little boy with a abusive father. Ever since his wife died he's been going insane. Sometimes he would be left out to sleep outside. Sometimes he would go to the window and beg to come inside. One times it was raining and a storm was coming at night. This frightened Robert and he went to get shelter somewhere else. Once the night was over Robert went back to his house to get ready for school. And on there way to school Robert's abusive father crashed the car. Robert's father lost his life and Robert remains. He saw this hotel that he wanted to go to.
Once inside Robert told the worker to check out the place. Robert started exploring the hotel until the lights flicked and rush came. He went in the closet, He survived everything except door 100. Once Robert got to door 100 Figure grabbed Robert by the leg and threw him down the endless stairs. He lost his life and haunts the hotel as ''Window.''

Random but the fact that Figures backstory is the longest of all of them is not surprising, i spent all night watching Part 1 and Part 2 without sleeping so i had bags under my eyes for not sleeping- btw this is even longer than "Doors [THE MOVIE]" because the movie was actually 40+ minutes and this is 50+ minutes 😁
i really only make ideas when its 1 backstory but i actually wanted to change a bit.

Date: 31/10/21
[FILE OPEN]
Sally was a teenager who loved Halloween. She was a normal girl but obsessed with Halloween. One day, she asked her friends what she should dress for halloween. Her friends replied
"Girl, your too old for Halloween! Sal, you have to know that teenagers dont do halloween anymore, grow up!"
Sally ignored them and continued the day until 6PM, she said to herself
"Maybe i should dress as a white smile! People will obviously be scared, thats my hobby!"
So, as she said, Sally made a mask and the backround was black with rain, and a seperated, white smile, but little did she know that would take a petrifying turn. It was the time to go out. Sally called her friends and they said
"Nope, im busy."
"Sorry, im at the cinema!"
"No thanks, im with Ronald."
Sally was sad, but no-one could see her depression. She did halloween, but the last house was her doom. She went to the last, nearest house. The door opened by itself and sally went
"Wait what? How-how did it open by itself?" she was perplexed. Sally saw a table and the bowl of candy. She stepped in the house slowly... Step to step. She took a mars but when she put it in her bag the bowl was picked up by a machine and put in the living room, but under the bowl was a massive, red button. Sally thought
"What. Is. THAT? A button? It seems too risky. But i wanna see what it does, well no-one is around so i'll press it! Nothing will happen... Right?"
Slowly... And carefully she pressed the button, then the floor opened and she fell and fell into the void.
Void said
"Hi."
Sally replied
"WOW! Is this the void? I've heard alot about THIS kind of void!"
Void was so happy that there was rain in the void. Void cheerfully said
"OMG FINALLY SOMEONE KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE!"
sally was confused, but she was amazed. Void replied back
"So... You ar-"
Sally: "I know, i know. You stay here in the realm of darkness or turn into a monster. And i have no choice yeah yeah." void was absolutely amazed. Then void said
"So, to make this super duper short, you will be an entity called Window. Since you wore a mask with a smile on your face, you CANNOT make a frown. Always smile. You will be in the lobby, but rarely you will be spawning in the hotel you'll be living in. You'll only come and disappear at a thunderstorm, but not all the time."
Sally replied
"Does that mean im a rare?"
Void: "yes, your a rare. Now be there... Your new life. You will also make 2 friends... And a few others that dont know you."

Me: On the contrary Void, I enjoy this series quite a bit. It's both interesting and sad on how the monsters we're born, but you give them no choice to return to their normal lives, so you will do your job until all the monsters have a place in the Hotel.

When spirit said "I'll free them" in figure backstory it sent chills down my spine
with all the information in the Jack part i can say the next one to have a backstory is Shadow.
Because Shadow is a rare monster and scene its rare that means Hall is Shadow,because only one person (Jack) could see Hall,in a way Hall is rare.
My new monsters I encountered was Halt, Jack, & Hide.
Now do a guiding light lore :) and a shadow

I have a theory. Maybe Hall is spirit. In Figure’s backstory, Freg and Charlotte were hunting deer when Charlotte disappeared. I don’t rly know how to say this correctly ;w; but when Hall died he came into the void but he didn’t want to become a monster so he..idk…escaped the void or something and he became Spirit and he saw Charlotte walking around blindly so he decided to help or something. Bro as I read this from the top it just sounds so dumb and I can’t rly put my thoughts into words ;-; this so bad but imma comment it anyway and go one with my life 🥲
In Jack’s Backstory (Part 1) Hall has red hair, like warped Jack is red. I think Hall is Warped Jack because of this and i think him and Jack are related: In Jack’s Backstory (Part 1) Hall is Jack’s friend, and in “if doors monsters had jobs part 2” Jack calls Warped Jack his “dead brother”. That’s my theory

Guiding light backstory/Spirit: Guiding light was trying to complete doors with 2 Other people, (Ofc they were mean, what do you think 😐). She was new, and she died on Figure trying to reach door 100, but when she reached door 50, those 2 people were making fun of her. They Didint care anyways, then, after reaching door 100, she died because they left her in the elevator. The hotel slowly started to disappear, she had nothing but to just die, but she woke up in the void. Void: “This hotel is getting overfilled”. And then she said, Uhh, void said, Anyways, your in eternal darkness, no escape- The girl said, I- Then void said “Let me finish, anyways, You will be transported to the hotel you were escaping”. She said: Basically reborn…. Void: Yes, but a small twist, you will be a guide who will tell people who they died to, help them with keys, etc. She said: It’s better than staying here. Void:Very well than
