You had the twelve and thirteen-year-old prodigy, you had the middle teen with growing pains and yearning for independence, while being stripped of everything for two years in a politically suppressive lockdown, and then the anger of it all being expressed. But I'll tell you this my friend the Artist that could have been, has composed hundreds of songs in these times, and has held her creations close to her heart and archived them protecting them from label copyright and theft of her creativity. So, in short, The Artist that could have been is the Phoenix awakening and unfurling her wings to take flight, and unlike Icarus Grace's flight has no limits or zenith. And when her tenor is up, there will so much crow served up to the nay Sayers to eat, it will make a Thanksgiving banquet look like a half consumed happy meal. 🦃Thanks for the visit Its Only Me, peace and happiness. Grant is being too nice in his reply to your comment. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion and here's mine. Your comment about "could have had" is so wrong in so many ways. We will always have her art, even if she suddenly just decides to stop singing and writing. Hundreds of great artists are gone but we still have their art. It's like saying if Mozart was still alive we could have had a great musician. Putting Grace in a "could have had" category is also pessimistic at best. Be thankful that she's done what she's done and that we do have, and always will have, a great artist in Grace Vanderwaal.
