I'm sure they prefer helping people that live there but the desire to put up a video every week sometimes means they have to do an abandoned house if they can't find an occupied house. It wouldn't surprise me if they find overgrown properties that the owner doesn't want them to do it or not want them to film it.
I agree but as a homeowner I would fear that a scam is being done. They only do a certain area than tell you it will cost you to complete. I am sceptical of free anything. I would tell them no thanks unless they have a contract or established TH-cam channel.
Not only did you help this man but the whole neighborhood. Cleaning the curb will help with drainage with the next rain. It looks incredible and I'm sure helped the man feel better too!

I was thinking the same exact thing. They don’t even own a mower. Good guys or not, maintaining the space just wasn’t a priority for them. But I also understand that when things get really bad, it’s hard to crawl out of it. M&D Lawn Care is basically a depression cleaning TH-cam channel, but for lawns. Hopefully the transformation will inspire them to take care of it, now since they’ve seen just how good it can look and the yard is now manageable.

A great kindness in helping Mr. Lewis with his yard. You had it neat and looking good. Recovered space, views, design, usability, safety. That was nice it was also a restored memory of how his mother kept it.
That was a super transformation! The owner was so appreciative. It's tough when it gets overwhelming with health concerns. It's nice that it's down to being manageable for him. It's a lovely yard and so nice it's back to how he remembers it.
What I enjoy greatly is that you both work so hard to do something that some people cannot do because of a medical issue. I watch a lot of you tube videos and to be honest I am sick of all the false leaders where they are sponsored to sell you this or that. When i watch your videos you go out and get the job done. Asking for me to buy a tee shirt to support what you do is much more easier to take then videos that sell something no one really needs. I wish the occupants would be put to work. They should show some indication of why they think it is ok to rip the property values down for property owners. Either they dont know how to mow or maybe they cant afford a mower they can afford a weed whacker and they should know how to pick weeds and vines. You have to have a willing person who is open to learning. Everything is not free.

You two are the hardest working lawn guys I have ever seen. You work so well together you have great attention to detail. You always trim the bushes and the trees, pick up the trash and rake the dead grass off the lawn. Most lawn guys don’t do that. You go the extra mile.
