My daughter has very silky hair that her bonnet slips off at night so I struggle to braid hers. I’m hoping to try what you did here. It doesn’t help the im just ok at braiding but I’m wanting to get better. Thanks for the video.

It can be that. It can also be to maintain moisture for a certain period of time which helps keep ur hands out ur hair for a while. I hope that made sense. Some ppl just like/love wearing extension braids like me. It last longer to me which keep my hands out my hair a lil longer.

you’ll be surprised how many people in Europe love these braids. i personally never braided my hair in these beautiful ways because i’m not confident enough to wear them, but i speak for everyone when i say that people of other ethnicities who braid their hair do it because they admire them (the hairstyle looks good, feels good, and is practical). i’m sorry you feel offended but any person who would want to have these hairstyles will want them because of admiration not for some evil reasons.

You're offended because she didn't acknowledge looser curl patterns in black hair? When all black hair (not biracial) fits into the tightest 4 curl patterns usually being 4b/c. That's offensive right there pretending natural 100% black hair isn't tight curly as if it's loose curly and loose wavy textures.
