Well they did renovate it - now it's a posh hotel for people with lots of money. Absolutely nothing else has been done except demolishing the one good music venue we had - the dome. This was such a waste - the midland should have been turned into something everyone could enjoy. Oh yeha - the little fairground you can see in this vid is also now gone - latest talk is that they are going to build big blocks of flats right there on the prom ! What a joke.
