Wow this takes me right back to primary school, I had a Dutch teacher in our tiny little village school that on a glorious autumn day would take us on a mushroom forage and was the first time I ate a penny bun and a puff ball. Cooked on a small fire in a cast iron skillet with a dozen hungary and mesmerised kids.

A real treat to see you back with JoeyD, I always love these videos. I really must get myself on a foraging course though as on the South West Coast path I ignored a whole area of huge parasol mushrooms as I wasn’t sure and just stuck with the field type. Doh!!

Fairly new to this channel, Enjoyed this! Foraging mushrooms is something I’ve yet to successfully do… even purchased a Brit special forces TAS guide years ago to take out with me, but I’ve never trusted myself with anything more than chicken of the woods ( or; some call it Hen o’ the woods) I think the reason I begin to doubt is cuz a lot of the safe edible shrooms look too much like the ones that might kill me😬
