We love the lakes! How fantastic is Wray castle, it's somewhere we've never thought of going. We loved the Beatrix potter museum when we went. Great ideas xx
my granddads ashes were scattered in the lake district as it was one of his favourite places but I've yet to go, I think we'll try and make the trip next year. Will come back to this video to remind myself of things to do there xx
+fritha strickland I would highly recommend it. I can understand why your grandad would want his ashes scattered there. It's such a wonderful place. So, so beautiful.
Thanks for the video, mostly really helpful. Unfortunately since Covid Wray Castle isn’t really open probably. It’s free to get in but only the ground floor available and it’s mostly just things for adults to read. Our kids only wanted to spend a few minutes inside and we spent the rest of the time exploring the grounds.
@@HelpfulMum no worries, just a heads up for future visitors as our kids loved your video but were a bit disappointed the castle was so different. They also said the roof was in a really bad way and the whole castle would be closing for 2 years for repair.
Thank you for video.Could you advice any where to stay in Lakes, please. We never been there before and I am thinking to go there on Easter holidays,if it is not too late :)
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can watch all the new series on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last few days =)

Lovely part of the world, we used to go before we had kids but haven't made it back there since they arrived. Maybe one day!

When I filmed the video 8 years ago, I had no knowledge of that!

I love the Lake so much! The high ropes looks brilliant, just need Jack to grow a bit first! x
+hollybobbsblog it was done on age, so he just has to be 5. That was why we went there rather than GoApe, as my daughter wasn't tall enough for that.
I was searching to see what my kids can do in Lake District National Park and your info was really helpful thank you.
Thank you so much. It is a wonderful place for families.
Nice vlog
