I think Shroud just doesn’t believe in the other Rogue characters. Having the Sniper on that map is decent BUT the corners are rough & it’s mostly close combat. I’d go with Trench or Lancer(Lancer is A-Tier & Trench is B-Tier). Also, you can get a gist of where your enemy is going to be while you’re gliding to the map. I find this game mode SO FUCKING FUN! Whether I win or lose it’s always fun to me & challenging for sure. I’ve only lost 1 game out of 27 so far...but I always play with comms so that explains a lot too. Either way? This games a blast, it’s so casual & dope.
I completely agree with Shroud on his weapon swap explanation. Many games do it, it's just for convenience in case you fat finger the wrong key in a gun fight. MW, Apex, all do this. I've been having trouble lately because Gunfire Reborn is just like Rogue Company, if I hit 2 and I'm on 2, it won't change to the next weapon.

Imagine you have 1 primary 2 secondary 3 grenade 4 bomb As example. 1 and 2 would swap between each other while 3 and 4 stay what they are. If I press 3 I get a gadget. If I am on 3 and want my pistol I press 2. If I am on my pistol and want my sniper I either press 2 or 1 allowing for more leeway but assuring that I switch no matter what button I press in the heat of the battle. Imagine it like a more nuanced quick switch button. Sure it's unnecessary and shouldn't be standard but I understand what he means. Also saying "in the history of gaming such a change has never been made" is a very conservative mindset that would never bring improvements to the table anyways. I'd rather have bad options that might spark a fresh idea in the future than no options at all.
The thing about the weapon swap he said makes a good statement I usually play like that in Apex and it helps me real good than scrolling cause in that 1 second when I take my finger of trigger button/LMB for scrolling a lot of shit changes in a fast paced game like Apex legend and sorts It's really a good thing to have a minimized play
I love shroud but the issue with streamers playing new games for a short period of time is they say dumb stuff like they know the game inside and out. He talking about how Dallas DMR is better than the MX R, if you play rogue alot then you know the MX R is the best DMR in the entire game. Once I was playing strike out and I was the last one alive and the team had all players up plus 7 lives.... I killed 11 straight and won. No game of extraction or demolition gave me a heart racing feeling like that’s round did. Lancer is OP, her roll reloads her gun and she has dead silence which is very useful for flanking.

I agree on the quick switch. Theres two options, switch to previous weapon, and switch to next weapon. I use Q for previous weapon used, e.g - Pistol to AR, AR to Pistol. But instead it just cycles through (if you have a melee equipped) both weapons and melee. Anyone understand this?

it's not previous weapon used, is previous in the rotation, so primary->melee->secondary->primary again
