This is truly one of the most amazing songs ever written and Dan Seals is one of the most underrated country singers ever,he is truly a legend in his own times.
So sorry Dan Seals is no longer with us. THIS is one beautiful piece of music. The writers should have received the highest award available for scripting this one. Rest Dan, this music was, and is, so beautiful....Thank you and Marie.
We lost Dan Seals way to soon. We are fortunate to have the wonderful songs he sang. We miss you Dan Seals and wish you were still here on earth. Rest in peace knowing your fans still love you and your music.
This song might be my favorite duet of all time. I've always absolutely loved Dan Seals' voice, from his England Dan days singing "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight", so his solo days singing "Everything That Glitters Is NOT Gold", and now this. Marie is such a great compliment to him here. Who's Sorry Now, is literally the only song of hers I'm familiar with. Granted, I was not born till a few years after these songs came about. Those country songs from the late 70s to the mid 80s were just fantastic though. It's too bad they really fell off in the 90s in my teenage years, as ALL music did.
I saw him at a west Virginia fair and I was probably 10 and he came off the stage and said he was thrilled I was so young and knew every word he sang..he pulled out a 20 dollar bill and signed it for me..to this day I still have it!! He is one of the legends !!
The ultimate 80s country song! Really takes me back to my childhood sitting in the back of my dad's '79 Chevy hearing this on CISN Country 103.9fm Edmonton! I remember what a monster hit it was at the time, always on the radio! Ahh! What memories!!😊❤R.I.P. DAN SEALS!
If ever I loved a performance of such a sweet song, this is it. I am thankful to listen to the music than Dan Seals and Marie Osmond have made for us. Love them both!
@@marieosmond4722 Thanks for asking, Marie. I have been struck by your fabulous rendition of this beautiful song that evokes visions of Big Sky scenery. Your ability to wrangle a C&W vocal on this wonderful track is a real testament to you. I appreciate your acknowledgment!
The beauty of this song and these artist is amazing.Thinking of this song as an inspiration and a wish that country music will reach its former glory the way that is meant too bee. Thanks for sharing a tribute too my childhood country stars...This song is really gets into your heart and stays there....
Me: born in 1979. 1985: song comes out. I am 6. But I will not discover the song until 2001 2001: I am 22. I instantly fall in love with the song. I had never heard of Dan Seals. But I knew who England Dan was. It was this song that made me research and learn they were one in the same. A jaw breaker moment for me Also to give you an idea in retrospect. I knew of the Donnie and Marie show in the 90s. Watched it after school sometimes. But I had no idea of their music careers until after the fact. Also in 2001: at age 22, they both look on the older side to me. (Obviously) 2020: I am 41 and they look so young!! How'd that happen? P.S. Native Montanan here. That song's always been meaningful to me because of that. But it's a good song and would be even if they we're gonna meet in Idaho. And the duet sounds so good together
I believe this performance was from the Osmonds 25th anniversary show which I put on a VHS tape and lost or erased, sadly. It is a great song and performance. I've been a fan of Dan Seals since the seventies when he was part of England Dan and John Ford Coley! And Marie Osmond, a legend!
