Im worried there is going to be very little about them acting like warships here, and mostly for fans of the mobile game to enjoy their favorite girl :) This is one aspect i prefer about kancolles anime. Hopefully its just from the trailer.
The manga this is based on is a slice of life comedy. Theres no serious action or fighting like the first anime so what you're worried about will definitely happen.

I think the weirdest thing about this is seeing all the girls drawn with the same art style. Like Seattle at :04 for example. She looks so different compared to her default artwork, but I actually prefer her look here. I always found her face kind of weird looking in the game.

Pretty sure in real life most of the Queen Elizabeth classes prior or during WW2 got modernised with better gunnery systems and radar and other adjustments so they would be on par with the rest of the fleet, it makes me wonder why Yostar didn't make the QE class shipgirls older as they're WW1/Post-WW1 battleships it'd make more sense!.
Because the way i'm thinking about it, is if the QE Shipgirls looked older (similiar to how KG:V class shipgirls look) it'd give them a more Refined & Elegant Monarch look!.
Please give Queen Elizabeth a retrofit! I beg of you!
