I think Kovu would win a battle of strength mainly because Lions are very strong in battle and are the second biggest cat. They are known as "The King of the Beasts." Bagheera is a powerful Black Panther or Black Leopard but has more speed, patience, and wisdom on his side. Kovu was taught by his mother Zira through rage and hatred to become King and get revenge against Simba for the loss of his father figure Scar. Bagheera was surrounded by his friends including Shere Khan the tiger but always learned to adapt and remember important key factors in terms of surviving. Bagheera has managed to fight Shere Khan will all his strength but sadly end up losing each fight they had in terms of strength.
