Honestly both of these shows should’ve had more praise! The Fosters were such positive influence on television at the time and Good trouble brought even more stories into the universe. Grew up watching both show and found myself through the season. Great interview!!!
I’m so sad these shows are coming to an end. It truly changed my life & im very pleased to say that it changed my perspective of life positively, entirely. I feel like i wouldn’t be the person who I am today without the show
I am Brazilian. Good Trouble changed my perspective on life positively. I'm so happy to see the girls on this podcast, they didn't appear much elsewhere talking about the show. I grew up watching Maia, especially when she debuted in the Australian series Mortified. If she did 10 years of Callie, I watched 10 years. And Sierra that I love so much. Seeing her grow on screen alongside the other characters makes me realize that life was worth it for the simple (and grand) emotions I experienced in front of the TV. There are so many words I could express, but summing them all up, I just have to say thank you for the show. On top of that, it was very difficult to watch from here in Brazil, as the series was only available after several seasons. I would like you to know that the show helped a lot with my English. Each episode was a ticket to a journey of learning and excitement. I was very happy watching this show. ❤
Brazilian here as welll and I couldn’t agree more. The Fosters had an incredible impact on tv at that time and then Good Trouble it just so amazing 🥹 can’t wait to see those two in different projects ❤
I’ve been pre grieving these characters. I can’t imagine how it feels for them. As soon as I heard this was the last season, i decided I couldn’t watch until I rewatched both series completely. I always liked the fosters, but good trouble has me in a vice grip. It’s like the millennial adult version of prime time teen tv in the 2000s. Binge watching all of it at the same time was an experience. The evolution of the shows and the characters is so incredible. Now, every week my heart is aching with each episode that comes and goes. I will miss them so much, but I cannot wait to see what they go on to do!
I grew up with these two! I remember when they announced the Fosters I was thrilled and followed along every week. I made sure in college to take social work classes as electives because of how inspired I was by the show and wanting to change the system. Also, I can't rave enough about Maia and Cierra's friendship. It is so inspiring to see how humble and wholesome and how amazing their friendship is off screen. I will miss them both as Callie and Mariana for sure, they honestly will always be a piece of me
The Fosters is one of the best shows that have been on television in suchhhhh a long time. I still find myself rewatching cuz everytime feels so raw. And Good Trouble is a really good spin off. Sad to see it all ending🥺
Whaaat I didn't expect Maia Mitchell to have an australian accent. I am just so used to her american accent because of the fosters and good trouble. Absolutely adore both shows btw and love the performances of these two women. The acting is immaculate
This show helped me open my eyes and I am so grateful bc I wouldn’t have been the person I am today thank u I will always love this show with all my heart thank u ❤
I love both maia and cierra so much. Amazing interview. It’s so cool to see them growing up together and how their characters involved throughout the years. I’m so proud of them. It’s really sad that the show has come to an end, but i’m so excited to what is next for them. And the artful dodger is amazing!!! So thankful for both of them for inspiring me throughout these past years. And I just LOVE their friendship 🥹❤️ thank you for this interview!!
I remember taking up my dads recording space on directv recording the fosters and getting excited for each new episode and the excitement has not faded one bit since watching Good Trouble on Hulu. I love the story lines and feel so attached to them it’s going to hurt losing these characters
the fosters really changed my life. i had no idea about the foster system and adoption in the us cuz im from brazil and it really impacted me. love them so much. amazing interview
Such a great interview. Both Maia & Cierra are phenomenal talents and it’s great hearing their thoughts on the shows that we watched them grow up on. Honestly still in denial that it’s coming to an end. No doubt that both of these women will continue to make a mark in the industry. Btw I’ve watched The Artful Dodger & strongly recommend to any that have yet to
I love both shows and I don’t know anyone else who watches them. I’m glad they have so much support, they totally deserve it! I’ve been rewatching the fosters again randomly too!
I was 11-12 when I first watched The Fosters. I watched it with my mom and sister. I loved it. The message it brought and the journey it took me through… I loved it!!! I have yet to watch Good Trouble but I really need to 😩
It’s also been like 10 years since I got to know the show and to this day is one of my favorites. Wished it was in more languages so i could show it to my family. But overall i love it and miss everyone in it😭❤️
I LOVE these two and wish them nothing but the best in their careers. Truly amazing franchise and I’m so sad it’s coming to and end but excited for what’s to come for them
There really are so many stories left to tell in Good Trouble/storylines to tie up. Ugh 😭 But I'm about the same age as these two and grew up with them watching their shows. I'm about to rewatch The Fosters for my first time ❤
I could actually see all these characters come back in a few years for another spin off. They’re all loved enough and cover so many good things. (Producers, I came up with this-hit me up 😅)
Good trouble and the fosters were amazing and I admit I was devo when Maia Mitchell left… but after watching her incredible acting skills in the artful dodger it is clear she is way too talented to be tied down in a such a long series! She has so much potential to branch out and be in some amazing movies! I’m so excited to see what path she follows! Also I literally screamed when I heard her say they’re trying to get a season 2 of the artful dodger! You think good trouble was good… wait till you watch that!
If you watch good trouble s5 e2,u can tell Maia has been in Australia for a while. Her American accent is still good but not all the way there. I died when I saw her in e1. Lobe them both
What’s crazy about them having been on television as Callie and Mariana for over 10 years is that they look the same to me, so it’s hard to view them as older than their original 15-16 year old characters. They definitely don’t seem like seasoned tech and lawyer ladies. I absolutely love it but also forget that it was 10+ years ago. Both shows are beautiful and fantastic and bring me to tears every time.
This was such a sweet podcast episode, I enjoyed every second!! They have good chemistry and I was hoping they’d have a chance to speak as we reach the finale
These two are such amazing women ❤ Have been watching them since the Fosters so the parasocial relationship is real xD Their characters have influenced me in so many small and bigger way, I will carry them with me forever 🫶🏼🎀 (STILL wanna get into roller derby cause of Mariana lol)
Love these two. I noticed less marketing around recent seasons & honestly caused me to miss out on their immediate releases. I hope viewership didn’t account for the finale since that feels like a Freeform problem. This fanbase is heeeere
Lol it wasn’t shocking to see a same sex biracial couple with kids on screen. It didn’t premiere in the 90s. I don’t know what they are talking about. Modern family premiered four years before this show. And Pretty Little Liars premiered 3 years before, on the same channel as The Fosters, and they had a same sex biracial couple.

So proud of these two amazing women and seeing them grow up on screen and off screen. I love their friendship and I’m so sad to say goodbye to them on GT, cause I went through it on The Fosters. Hopefully I will one day watch GT from the beginning cause I’ve been watching the final few episodes a little bit since I heard it was ending. I was thinking about The Fosters and the amazing impact it had! 🥹👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😭😭😭
Honestly both of these shows should’ve had more praise! The Fosters were such positive influence on television at the time and Good trouble brought even more stories into the universe. Grew up watching both show and found myself through the season. Great interview!!!
thank you!
Good Trouble is one of the best shows this generation and I stand by that wholeheartedly
I grew up watching them 😢

Specially Maia since her early years in Australia TV
I’m so sad these shows are coming to an end. It truly changed my life & im very pleased to say that it changed my perspective of life positively, entirely. I feel like i wouldn’t be the person who I am today without the show

Maia is a legend. Her film NEVER GOIN’ BACK is absolutely hilarious

Hands down my favorite show will for sure miss watching it.
So happy you had these 2 lovelies on. Im still devasted its all coming to an end after this season 😭 ❤
I love both shows and I don’t know anyone else who watches them. I’m glad they have so much support, they totally deserve it! I’ve been rewatching the fosters again randomly too!
me neither. its like no one knows this show in my area, Pennsylvania
I was 11-12 when I first watched The Fosters. I watched it with my mom and sister. I loved it. The message it brought and the journey it took me through… I loved it!!! I have yet to watch Good Trouble but I really need to 😩

This will forever be my favorite Maierra interview. Can’t wait to see what they both do next, especially Cierra 🥹💗
i'm going to miss them so much 😭 i hope they do future projects together
The Fosters honestly changed my life and opens so many eyes. Good Trouble too but I grew up on the Fosters and felt like I grew up with them!!! ❤️❤️❤️
It’s also been like 10 years since I got to know the show and to this day is one of my favorites. Wished it was in more languages so i could show it to my family. But overall i love it and miss everyone in it😭❤️
I was just telling my roommate, idk what I’m going to do without the Addams fosters storyline it’s been forever 🥺
I love the Artful Dodger, I’m really hoping for a season 2!
Royalty? THAT IS the PERFECT way to describe these 2 angels!🥰😍🤗🧡
Going to miss the show so much, always loved Callie ❤ usually don’t watch interviews much but enjoyed this!

I could actually see all these characters come back in a few years for another spin off. They’re all loved enough and cover so many good things. (Producers, I came up with this-hit me up 😅)
The way I would have never guessed this was posted a day ago
It's people like Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez that make me forget that I am alone.😘🥰
Im so excited for this I love them
Good trouble and the fosters were amazing and I admit I was devo when Maia Mitchell left… but after watching her incredible acting skills in the artful dodger it is clear she is way too talented to be tied down in a such a long series! Absolutely INSANE that’s how Maia actually talks
Love this interview❤
I
Not enough people talk about how good of a show The Fosters was and I’m sad Good Trouble is ending
If you watch good trouble s5 e2,u can tell Maia has been in Australia for a while. Her American accent is still good but not all the way there. I died when I saw her in e1. Lobe them both
Omg I love them!
Why did good trouble have to finish ?? The fosters and good trouble was amazing !!
Love these girls ❤❤
When is the episode with Nick coming out?
That is what im wondering
OMG I LOVE THEM
why was this so short?
They had a tight schedule, we'll have them back for longer interviews in the future!
Why did good trouble have to finish?? It was so amazing
Omg I need Lana Parilla on here to talk about Once Upon a Time
This was such a sweet podcast episode, I enjoyed every second!! They have good chemistry and I was hoping they’d have a chance to speak as we reach the finale
I love them so much
"Its not where you come from, its where you belong"
I'm not a big fan of Good Trouble, maybe because I never watched The Fosters, BUT I like Maia, she's super cute :3
These two are such amazing women ❤ Have been watching them since the Fosters so the parasocial relationship is real xD Their characters have influenced me in so many small and bigger way, I will carry them with me forever 🫶🏼🎀 (STILL wanna get into roller derby cause of Mariana lol)

I do hope they work together in the future
Why was Zach making this about him half the time
I fucking love them
Maia mitchell is the marianna of this interview
Mariana and Evan better end up together 😭😭😭
It still trips me out that maia has a accent 😭
I have cat named Callie, but pronounce and spell her name (Callaie)🐈. Is also short for California.
My Adams-Foster girls!
I hope Cierra can get more work. There are just more opportunities for people who look like Maia which is unfortunate. Good luck Cierra!
Is this the girl that Jeff dated?
Yes
Does she talk about teen beach at all
BITCH YESS THESE ARE MY ACTUAL SISTERS ALONG WITH MY PARENTS, LENA AND STEF FOSTERRR
i loved she as lady belle
Lol it wasn’t shocking to see a same sex biracial couple with kids on screen. It didn’t premiere in the 90s. I don’t know what they are talking about.

First
Unfortunately, last season of GT is downright flop.
