RaCe WeEkEnD !!! ECEA Fern Glen Champsionship Hare Scramble

Benny and Bo have another amazing camping adventure and race weekend! We start the day with Dr's, shopping and slimeeeee. Once dad gets home to time to head into LA Tortuga and head to the race !! Our family loves camping the night before in the field because the ECEA races are usually far from our home and it's nice to split up the driving AND have more time to play with other dirtbike kids/families. We all always make fun of dad's driving because it's terrible but we have a good laugh when the stuff on the table slides onto Bo while he naps. The TV falls on mom and lots of cabinets and other things never stay in place. When we get there Bo wakes up and thinks that it's race day 😂 We remind him what day it is and we head out for some night adventures on the onewheel. As always we end the night in the camper playing card games together as a family.
The next morning Jacob listens to the ocean through his cereal cup and we head out for some more adventures. The boys find "obsidian" and try carving them into different shapes. They climb hills of rocks, explore water holes and most importantly get pretty muddy. Soon enough it's time for tech inspection and registration. The boys gear up and head over but Jacob gets him arm stuck in a cone 🤦‍♀️
The boys gear up and head over to the starting line !! We are all super excited since this is a brand new venue that hasn't been raced at before. Lucas has a great start and so does Bo!!! We get some good videos from the sidelines as we cheer the boys on. Lucas places 11th for his class and Bo 6th in his class ! We are so so proud of them for doing their best and for having the most fun.
Once home we realize that dad's birthday present came a couple weeks early and dad and the boys could not wait to put it together! Mom gets stuck with tons of laundry, the boys inflate and setup the HOTTUB and we end an amazing day watching the beautiful sunset.
