I think it's an amazing and extremely convenient product marketed to the completely wrong crowd. I think the EDC crowd could find uses for it but it really should be for selfie takers and vloggers.

I think what people are missing here is: When do you not have your phone on you? Most people carry their phones everywhere so the light can be utilized in an EDC compacity. Forgot your flashlight? No problem. You got one on the back of your phone that is small and bright. I love it! I ordered one and think it will be great for the apocalypse!

If there's any kind of apocalypse, I'm pretty sure phone signals and Internet are done and a good torch is what we'll need...until there's no batteries left, that is.

I don’t take many selfies or videos on my phone but just as general consumer I think it’s pretty cool just having a huge upgrade of 300 lumins on your phone little alone the fact you can magnetise it anywhere and swivel it to the best angle and customise your lighting.

not a bad idea, but eventhough it's just having 6mm thickness, it adds to the cellphone. and they aren't exactly getting thinner...
but q: doesn't the magnet-sticker interfere with NFC and other antennae?
