I heard the newer version from the latest album and it reminds me of, "Blank Girl" from Dum Dum Girls. This version, even more so. It's odd, like I'm thinking of similar best coast songs like, "Bratty B", but then DDG at the same time. Her early sound reminds me of , "Cults", too w/the distortion. Love BC all around, but I'm really digging her new sound and self-acceptance of her voice.

I do prefer this version to the album version. I feel the Only Place lacked the warm distortion that helps cover up the small faults that Best Coast have.
