I suspect this ride occurred yesterday (16th Dec)... my wife and I drove our car up to Kenilworth yesterday... amazing rain and wonderful to see all that water. Having ridden a lot in the past, I can appreciate the 'adventure' you found riding in those conditions... truly can be soooo much fun... some people wouldn't understand it unless they experienced it for themselves. PS... enjoying your videos Brian (Buderim)
Awesome upgrades and to see your mum riding again. Hope the levers etc gives u more confidence standing up bike sounds heaps better. Have a safe Christmas to u all keep up the great episode's.
Looks like you needed a boat not a bike in this video, loving the upgrades looks like they put the biggest smile on your face and great to see mum back on the team again
Hi, Just stumbled across your channel. I've got a CRF300L and i did the same mods from SSS about 6 weeks ago. Definitely worth doing, opens up the bike, more power and responsiveness, way more fun. Enjoy 😊
Merry christmas and a happy new year to you and your family Rem. Looking forward to watching more of your adventures next year! Gotta say, not a fan of riding in the rain. Never have found any rain gear that keeps me dry!
The CRF300L and Rally are such great bikes once you personalise them to your needs. The most versatile motorcycle on the market I think. Love your vids Rem.
Great video I've been wanting to do ungrades on my Rally i heard there was a place in Tamworth that did them buy I couldn't remember the name of the shop thankyou for supplying there name. Tamworth is about 3hrs from where i live so ill be checking SSS out soon. Cheers
Look for a Pin Lock visor that fits your helmet, they are a game changer for Fogging Visors. It's another visor that clips internally over the main visor just like expensive dual-thickness Ski Goggles. Zero fogging with one fitted.
Good stuff Rem! Get a Pinlock for your visor and get some Rainex in the yellow container for the exterior of your visor. You wont believe the difference in visability.
About bloody time, a basic good bike fulling its potential. Suspension was the big one, but it buts a smile on my face to see you're not stopping there. When it's due, after a few ten thousand km first, do a big bore kit. By then, your skill level will love it. Great to see your Mum back in the saddle, the old team back together🙂 There is a magic riding rain in the right circumstance, but caution must be there too. Love it 👍No dust, clean air. Also, air down a tad is good for mud, as you would for sand. Smart move, knowing when to head home and let the boys carry on. Happy to see you guys hitting the dirt again. PS: Your mum needs a carbon copy of your bike. The KLX300 is also a good option, but for some reason it's not here in Oz, only the 250 still. But it still needs a bigger tank, that the Rally has. Put your Dad on the CFmoto 450mt. Ditch the 790, good bike thought it is. Cheers
Yes Adam, absolutely madness in Thailand a mate of mine and myself. Werode some of those roads but not when it’s pouring down. Rain like it has been unbelievable I get so excited when I see Adams videos come out. Thanks for sharing with Rem
We did Cambodia in 16 & 17 then Thailand in 2019. They can tailor the ride to suit your ability. We rode the CRF in Thailand & they are a good little mountain goat. It would have been carnage on a 350-450 enduro bike with the extra height & hp/torque. We were getting wheelspin & sideways in 3rd on the CRF, We didn’t need double the power from a 350-450
I love the sound of the new lighter exhaust. My experience has been after riding for maybe an hour the drone noise becomes unbearable. The only bike i have ever had with an aftermarket full system was a Ducati 1198 and the exhaust sound was at the very back of the bike under the pillion seat.
Those aftermarket levers make it better for small hands but there uncomfortable if you get to that point have your dad put the stock ones in a vise lightly heat them up then use a pipe to carefully bend them but don’t go crazy because there cast aluminum.also another thing to look into is better boots although their motocross boots they offer the most foot protection ankle protection out there Alpinestars tech 10’s yah there not cheap but neither are hospital bills.remember any boots that are comfortable to walk in offer little to no protection if you’re worried about walking in them don’t carry a small pair of slip on shoes for exploring off the bike.
Throw in the SSS 301 big bore kit and get even more performance from your added power parts. It’s a pretty straight forward job on the Rally.👍😎 And with the added displacement you can change your rear sprocket to 38t or front to a 15t for a bit cruiser on road riding.
The rain has been relentless lately, so over it (and I'm a postie as well😞) good to see your Mum back on the bike, I just bought a CFmoto 450mt, very impressed with it coming from a T7. Do you run a mic in your helmet as well as the foam exterior mic?, cheers 👍
REM, love your enthusiasm about your 300, could you post a detailed list of the parts you added so we can add them also? Thanks.
You have a great family to ride in rain. !!!

SSS has a tune for the CFMoto 450MT as swell.
Good video Rem! 🌧

Thanks for the suggestion! Will definitely check it out.
Naww graham is famous. Good on ya sport. Your in luck Rem great gear from sss.
That more controllable throttle response will help you increase your skill levels greatly. I need to get my wee farm bike off road.
great video!
@12:40 good call dad the are some nasty clay corners on cedar creek road which are treacherous when wet (ask me how I know) 😊
SSS also do ECU mods for CFMoto 450MT.
Good stuff Rem! Get a Pinlock for your visor and get some Rainex in the yellow container for the exterior of your visor. You wont believe the difference in visability.
After that ride I will definitely need to look into that.

We loved those videos, I have a lot of training to do before I get to that level!
@@RemAdventures all in good time.

I thought the best part about owning a bike was riding it? Turns out I've been doing it wrong all these years :)
riding in that would suck
👋👍

Hi, glad to hear you enjoying the CFMoto. Yes, I use the Rode Lavalier Go microphone currently in my helmet
@RemAdventures thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 I will try different mic setup
