I know Ghana police is corrupt and some are criminals, but the siren is used everywhere so the evil act can be stopped and/or prevented so the lives of the victims are not in danger anymore. It's done everywhere. They don't use the siren when they're attempting to arrest criminals who are not posing any danger to others, such as those doing illegal businesses and selling drugs. You want to catch them in the act as much as possible.
