Great hike, おつかれさま！Kumotori's a favorite for sure, although I like coming in from Chichibu instead. Can't believe you folks were short-sleeved on the summit, must have been midsummer! The blooming flowers were beautiful though, and good thing the weather cleared on that second day.
This was in August so it was warm. I want to go back here in winter and start from the other side as well, and you saying you like coming from Chichibu solidified that! 😁 I've heard it's quite pretty with the snow.
