Was there not a flange distance difference of the Hexanon to the Leica M standard?

yeah probs, there's also £2000 difference so probably lots to pick at

@@AlexIvory I've noticed my copy back focuses wide open, but anything after 2.8 is acceptable tbh

Honestly even wide open it’s not bad. If you focus on the eye it will actually focus on the ear but hardly noticeable on film and only if at minimum focus distance.
