Those fifth wheel trailers that attach to the roof are horrible. The tow vehicle was never designed to have that much strain put on it's roof. Remember the ones made for the VW Beetle? You see lots of pics and vids about it. But what they never show it the damage to the car after four or five seasons of camping.
@@patsquach4080 Yes, you have to be very gentle with hitches attached to the roof, absolutely no sudden movements at any speed above 10KPH. It puts a lot of weight very high on the vehicle making it very unstable. When braking the weight of the trailer pushes forward on the roof, forcing the car to nose dive. Cute idea but it is one of the most dangerous way to tow. Anyone who knows anything about car construction and towing can easily see this.
@@patsquach4080 Funny you should ask, my uncle tried it on his 79 Crown Vic, just to see if it wold work as he saw the VW in a magazine. Had it on for a couple days and converted back to regular towing. Obviously you know little about cars and towing. Do you actually thing a car roof is a strong for towing as a hitch attached to the frame of the car, hehehe most car roofs crumple in a roll over and you want to tow a trailer with it. The idea started in the late 60's and ended in the early 70's after they stopped putting angle dust in the weed the engineers were smoking Do you have any idea why you don't see any on the road or in camping sites? Do some more drugs and you'll see I'm wrong and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread

I made the tool .. part blacksmith..lol. Made roll gages for a few unites and attachments for towing …. Grew my own. Ganga. Too ! lol. Have a. Fun. Day.
The car garage/tent (8:08) is a tragedy waiting to happen. I don't care how many warnings you put on something like that someone will want to start their car to use the heater or recharge the battery. A better design would accommodate vented pipes that fit over the car's exhaust to direct the exhaust gasses out. Because people will do it no matter what warnings you put on it so you might as well go that extra little bit to make it actually feasible and the car usable inside the tent's structure.

Mas bien parecen articulos, salvo uno o dos que pueden tener su utilidad para alguna actividad específica, para domingueros de los cutres que salen al campo un dia y quieren que todo el que los vea piense que son la hostia de guays. Que ahora quieran convencernos de que para salir un fin de semana de acampada hay que llevarse media casa o hasta un garaje para el coche🙄 cuando toda la vida a bastado con tu mochila tu tienda tu saco de dormir y algo para hacerte la comida.....contando con que, cuanta más mierda lleven, más mierda pueden dejar abandonada en el campo. Luego me vienen con el rollo de la sostenibilidad.... 😒
