- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is back open, and is looking better than ever! I noticed heavy landscaping was done around the park, and Miss Tilly is finally erupting once again! There’s also a new souvenir cup for sale, and some new merchandise too. This was all filmed on March 22nd 2023 from around 2pm - 4pm

I’m so happy Typhoon Lagoon is open again, I love it so much more than Blizzard Beach. I was just there but am still looking forward to watching this over my coffee right now so I can see how much better you did it. 😉😍

🥁Steel drum time! Glad you were able to see improvements & how fun to see Ms. Tilly erupting! (Geez, hope they keep her working!) Great shots on high considering climbing must have been not easy if still suffering from event overload☺Thank goodness all souvenirs don't have Stitch on it & that the sipper is alive and well 🤸🏻♀I thought how great to end with her blowing her stack, and look at that, u done did 💦it! Thx 4 for showing so quickly & goodness I could feel the heat! (whatever degrees it was, it looked toasty)🌞💛💜
Yes, finding out that Miss Tilly was fixed was a wonderful surprise! Many of the trees were so overgrown right before the park closed, but now everything is trimmed up nicely. Climbing up the mountain overlook is always a must for me, even when I’m absolutely exhausted lol. I forgot to add the temperature in the description again🙃 but it was about 85 when I was there, so pretty much the perfect water park temp! Thanks so much Liz😊

This Park is INFINITELY better than the one we were raised on back in the day; yep, that’s right-River Country. Yes, let’s spend a hot sunny day in a rustic old-fashioned swimming hole (keyword: hole) filled with all types of fish AND snakes. K, where do you think people today would rather spend their warm days at? A pool or a pond (pond would be good for you). 😅😂🤣
Haha I completely agree Scott. River country was very unique, but overall that probably wasn’t the best idea. Times were sooo different back then! Typhoon lagoon is a million times better in every way in my opinion

Quite possibly the best themed park at Disney! I'll take a full day at Typhoon Lagoon (or Blizzard Beach), followed by dinner and dessert at Disney Springs, each and every vacation.

This is such a fun park - my family has had some really great times here! I love hearing the steel drum music and the kids screaming every time the wave pool starts up! Thank you for another great video!

I hope I'm able to go in November this year. My parents took my brother and I when we were very little. I wanna be able to visit, hopefully I get to in November we'll see.

I just had a dream just now it was the best water ride I ever went on with story from beginning to end I call it splash Mountain even though it’s already been taken I’ll change it
I think that you should do a complete walk through of Blizzard Beach when it reopens. Also i love the tropical vibe here, iv'e never been to either water park but hope to go soon!
I definitely will whenever it reopens(hopefully this summer) I love both of them but Typhoon lagoon is my favorite for sure
i have never been there but it looks like so much fun next time I will go I love lazy rivers 🪹

I would feel like a beached whale…but I am very tempted to go to one of the water parks (whichever open during a visit!). They really look fun (and I love the backstory and theming of both of them).

This is a must do whenever I visit WDW. The atmosphere alone does it for me. And the rides are about fun more than thrill in general. Of course, walking around listening to the surf music works too 😊
I couldn’t agree more Mike! Typhoon Lagoon has the perfect mix of phenomenal theming/immersion, and genuinely fun rides/slides that the whole family can enjoy. It will forever be my favorite water park!

I went there back when I was just 10 in 2001.
