Tiney such a classic 🙌🏾
J-Sol hell yea
Indeed!🙌🏽🔥🙌🏽🔥
I am SHOCKED that this only hit #35 in America, I remember hearing this on the radio pretty much all the time
That's because it was popular due to Catwoman but no one in the US was checking for Mis-Teeq.
@@DavidKen878Until GTAV came out.
@@em.415 Even after GTA came out, people in the US still weren't checking for Mis-Teeq. Plus they were already broken up.
@@em.415 GTAV's music station is inspired by the British pop scene. Other songs are just like this one.
Even in South Africa ,It used to be played quite alot on radio . Ah ,good times.
I miss this type of music. Late 90s and early 2000s are the best!!
I miss those dayz
That's what I was thinking, it reminds me of that R&B of the late 90's like Jade, TLC, En Vogue, SWV...etc.
Agree with you

Aleshas british accent when rapping is so distinctive and elite❤ 🇬🇧
Omg that's always the best part 🎉
She had an epic voice on this video. Did'nt get enough credit back then.
One of the best British songs of all time. Every part of it is iconic. If you grew up in the 2000s and don’t know every line of Alesha’s verse who even are you???

Yup
The clothes, the dance moves, the ambiance, the beat, the hella catchy rhymes. Miss the 2000s so much.
Ditto!! Like take me back!!
_Hell_ yes. I always assumed in the '00s that it was only going to get better, hotter and more innovative . . . _nah,_ we're in cultural stagnation now, seems to me.
@@fletcherhamilton3177 not really. The 2010s had tons of innovation and 2020s should have even more

Excellent song by this British pop trio. I cannot believe it has been twenty years since this bombshell was released. This song/video was so great it was "Scandalous"!
When Vanity said on her confessional that I was not ready for her to lip sync to this, she was right. She ATE the song and stablished herself as a legendary lip sync assassin.
Been feeling a bit defeated lately. This song gives me the confidence I need to keep going. And love the beat of the song. Sometimes all you need is music to get you through the toughest days.
Thank you, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK! That was an great trip down memory lane. Love this song!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who went straight to TH-cam to watch the clip after the episode
I swear watching Drag Race UK and seeing that hype performance brought me here.
Pfft. Theres no drag racing at all. It's just a bunch of people in fabulous outfits...

This is a bad ass song! I've never heard it until right now. 4:23 am on March 29. 2024. Lol. Sitting here watching old AGT videos, and got curious of what alesha ,one of the judges was famous for, and came across this video! I love it! What a sexy song, not a big GTA fan,but dang! This song is 🔥 hot
the beat is so sick, every part of it is a masterpiece if you listen to everything.. its nothing what u hear everyday. its so perfect. it have so many perfect changes and i dont know who made that but bruh i bow down
Stargate (also produced “So Sick” by Ne-Yo; “Work Hard Play Hard” by Wiz Khalifa and “I Need a Girl” by Trey Songz, to name a few) produced the track.

I was 23 when this came out. And back then I thought Alesha Dixon was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON in Britain. 21 years on - I still think she is THE MOST GOOOOOOORGEOUS PERSON to have ever graced United Kingdom never mind Britain!
Coming from Drag Race UK. Not expecting the outfit reveal of Vanity but damn SHE. TURNED. IT. OUT.
This Song Never Gets Old In 2023
When Vanity started to spin and those gold ropes were twirling I WAS LIVING!
I can't believe people are finding out about this through Drag Race. This song was a hit in 2004. Anyway, I love Scarlet but when Ru said this was the song, I knew this is gonna go to Vanity, and she turned it. Deserved to stay just for the lipsync.
I knew this way before Drag Race. This was also their biggest song in the US.

The beginning part with Alesha singing you know you want to sing with us. I loveeee it! her voice is so breathtaking ❤️
This is that song that MAKES a night out. Handbags on the floor ladies!
Mis-Teeq was a British girl group, consisting of lead singer Sabrina Washington, rapper, singer and songwriter Alesha Dixon and singer Su-Elise Nash. They had two top-ten albums and seven consecutive top-ten singles, with chart-topping success on the UK Singles Chart as well as across Europe. The group had been a quartet with Zena McNally who left in 2001.
I came here first to talk about Vanity but I am actually quite thankful for being introduced to this song as someone born in the 90's. The way nostalgia hit me with the sound, the special effects and the choreo left me wigless and scalped.
This song is just undeniable, from the beat to the harmonies, crazy hook. Love it!
I don't think realise how these three amazingly talented and beautiful young women paved the way for so many others to follow... they deserve the utmost respect.

She devoured Scarlett!!!
