Great video. I was there in December 2018. I made a reservation before I went and I’m glad I did. The restaurant was packed. A big pricey, but well worth it. I live in the Czech Republic, and so it’s not so difficult for me to get to Budapest. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

No sabia de la existencia de ese lugar y casi quedo mudo cuando descubrí tan hermosa arquitectura. En el 2019 estuve nuevamente con la intención de tomar algo ahí. Me quedé en un hotel en la manzana donde tu comenzaste el video y por supuesto me hice un tiempo para tomar algo en el New York café. Bellísima lugar y muy amable atención, es un recuerdo que atesorare por siempre, gracias por recordarmelo

It's always better to get a permission 1st before you start filming so that there won't be any issues !! But,in this day & age ,that's a bit weird thing as we all.got video cam in our phones !! But,yet still being polite with a smile gets things going smoothly !! I thought you had a coffee ☕there ,you.should've mentioned that you were a customer, too !! 🤔That might had solved it ? Thank you for this video ,though ! I enjoyed it very much with my mom !! 👍💜💜💜🥁🐉🎤🎵🎶🫖☕🍵🍰🥧💞
The hotel itself is nothing to write home about, though. It's by no means bad or anything, you'd just expect more than a solid four star experience judging from the breathtaking lobby and cafe. There are a few better hotels in Budapest but I've always gone there for the stunning architecture. Sadly they recently left Marriott, so I'm afraid that's it for me.
It is ok to film and take photos inside, as long as you have a table and are eating or drinking coffee.. You can not just go around and film and then leave again without buying anything lol
This is undispitudely the best cafe in the world..A must visit place in Budapest...
