This character is hella underrated. Spoilers below: If Rantaro absolutely had to die I would’ve killed him off in Trial 5 at least (victim tbh). I’d keep him around if possible tho, plus I would’ve given the Ultimate Survivor a different meaning. Thankfully Rantaro gets love despite his short time on screen.
While I agree that he was so quick to die, him dying first while being a previous participant posed a problem for the mastermind who was also a previous participant as well. Them killing him off made a lot of sense.
